Great result The usual issues. Coutinho utterly brilliant for 15 mins. Lallana took his well Manes goal was fabulous Crap at the back... moreno a liability. We get 3 points and a decent game next week to come. The dig in for 3 hard ones and the season is well under way.

Moreno is woeful, at fault for two arsenal goals at least maybe all 3 cos he was on the pitch at the same time. I really fear for us if we dont get a decent LB in this window could be a telling mistake come the end of season. We still look suspect at the back, But that can improve with a fit Matip/Sakho and a decent LB or 2. anyway, chuffed, i knew wed beat them though i said 3-1

Great to get the win obviously, but a mixed bag of a performance. Started off much too tentatively and needed some real quality up front to turn it around. Moreno has to go, really.
Moreno's consistently sh!t performances aside, that first half pre Coutinho goal was terrible. Couldn't keep hold of the ball, couldn't pass, we were lucky Arsenal weren't very clinical.
So does my grill of his, which I used for a month ten years ago and has been in my garage ever since.
The sad thing about Moreno is for a brief moment when we first signed him he looked decent. He scored a rocket of a goal early on and there were comparisons to Riise but after that brief seduction he's been a continual thorn. Never lived up to that initial hope.
First half was pants but hey, first game of season away to Arsenal, never going to hit the ground running right away. Lets look at positives, going forward we look a real threat, mane adds that par and excitement w emus see last year. 4 goals without Sturridge or Origi is pretty damn good. Midfield didn't control the game but arsenal will dominate the midfield in most games they play to be honest. Excited about this season, if we can only concede 1 goal I game I fancy our attack to score at least 2
And shout to Mig. I know he conceded 3 but saved a pen, was pretty good from crosses getting plent tof punches out. Decent enough with his feet. Wasnt at at fault for any of the goals, just 1 case when ball bounced in 6 yard box where should have claimed it but other than that was decent enough.
Typical Migs performance - but that one that ran along his six yard box that Lovren cleared sums him up as much as the penalty save.
