interesting City top of the league yet it's still the Newcastle and Villa show. It's almost like the pundits don't care - Newcastle, Brighton, Villa Oh and now the rest of the dross - Bristol city go top of the league - but quickly back to the interesting stuff........... And don't even feature in the odds for the title !!!!
Not sure why you are surprised - it always happens to us, the season after the play off final, the opening game away at Blackpool, we got no mention on Sky Sports until FT.... If you have not been in the Prem at some point, or at least a leagcy club who spent a lot of time in the old Div 1 basically you don't count
Not really surprised - just irritated -and full of beer after watching a mates band playing at a local pub!

Yep watching goals on Sunday. It is a premier league show admittedly but they talk about the championship after showing all the goals. We had a quick mention at the beginning saying we're top then that was it, talking about Newcastle again. Wouldn't mind if they didn't talk about us but at least mention clubs doing well like Huddersfield and Fulham. All 3 of us got no mention. Quite annoying really but let's not forget it's only 2 games in. If it's 20 games in and we're still floating around the top we'll get more air time. I do like football on 5 though, much better than the dross that was on bbc! Couldn't have managed a more depressing, boring football show than that!
That's Lynsey Hipgrave who has been Danny Baker's sidekick on his Saturday morning radio show for years. She also presented some of the footie shows on BT Sport last year. Interesting how her massively Geordie accent doesn't come out very strong on TV, she must have been gutted sat there following the Toon's start to the season...!
