Well... If I lived local I'd probably only attend a handful of games a season. Nothing to do with TV though and everything to do with the cost of tickets.

As it currently stands I will only go to a Liverpool game of they're within a 10hr driving distance.

Its not Liverpool/Everton/ManUtd etc. attendances they are worried about. More likely to be the local teams like Oldham, Tranmere etc in the surrounding areas who rely on supporters of Man Utd, Liverpool etc. having them as their second/local team.

the worry used to be that it would decimate attendances at the lower levels of football in this country. That is the reason that live PL games officially available in UK aren't on at 3 pm on a Saturday

Rumours that Emre Can could be missing today's game with dead leg.

    Screwed already?

Henderson and Wijnaldum at cm then.

Dont think the much anticipated preseason and transfer window has done very much

Defence bare bones and not fixed and the only mane looks a serious improvement over what we had.

Shall we start our season before the doom and gloom?

We're not dealing with Rodgers here, Klopp knows what he wants hence the departures of skrtel, ibe and attempt to get rid of Benteke.

Assuming the 'defence not being fixed' is purely aimed at Moreno, maybe he feels he can get more out of this guy, he has only just turned 24 after all - if he didn't he would have been gone too

Reverse jinx has worked for jonnybaws in the cricket. I thought it might work here.

Oh but it's not just moreno at the back. It's all very unsettled and the same **** is happening.

    Cech
    bellerin chambers holding monreal
    Xhaks Elneny
    Walcott Ramsey Cazorla
    Sanchez

inagine be something like that. Still dangerous in attack even though Sanchez is better from out wide.

I heard rumours that it will be Monreal at CB which will mean Gibbs at left back? We really need to take advantage of this if we want to do well this season imo.

Up top as well, looking at Iwobi or Walcott leading the line.

I expect to win today, statement is needed straight away.
