For me, he has to be one of the first people to be replaced, should we actually finalise this imaginary takeover and sign new imaginary players. Just too relaxed for my liking. On his day, a brilliant footballer, but those days are just too far apart for me. I have stood by him in the past too, but think we could do with bringing in someone with a bit more oomph.
Absolute rubbish, he played very well today. His only mistake was the tackle that was wrongly given as a penalty, even then he was only covering for Meylers shocking pass.
Fair enough. I'm a big fan of his and would love for him to perform well this season, he just looks far too relaxed on certain occasions for me and I don't like that. But that's my opinion.
You're right He ought to start looking far more stressed and hurried, that would be miles better He had a good game I thought today.
I watched him a lot and he frightens me how relaxed he "appears" at time. I wasn't asking you or anyone else to like my opinion, but that is my opinion.
You're out of order my friend. Played well today, some important tackles, guy plays with a cool head. We have a paper thin squad, not the time to be getting on their backs. Don't know if you went but we've just beaten the champions of England! Oh yes, if you're gonna slag a guy off, have the decency to get his name right.
He did exactly what he was supposed to do, nothing more or less. Those passes out wide were spot on today, going to need him this season for sure.
He isn't relaxed, he just has the vision not to have to run around, he just has to choose who to pass to and that's where the ball goes.
Still amazes me how many people do this. It's quite obvious how to spell it. Reminds me of the idiots who kept calling Ashbee 'Ashby'.
can't criticise any one on that pitch today, to put that effort and performance in given the **** storm going on around them was great, team spirit must be awesome at the moment amongst those lads
WTF? Huddlestone was wrongly accused of giving a penalty away! THAT'S IT! Riley was wrong, but overall, Hudds was just a quick pass away, did nothing out of the ordinary, just did what was necessary!
Didn't go today but saw some highlights and the one thing we never do is stand on the keeper...bravo Thudd!
Surely the sign of a great footballer if he looks 'relaxed' on the ball. I'd be much more concerned if he was looking hurried and hassled on the ball and in possession of the ball. It's your opinion, but it's a crap one.
Gives away too many free kicks and too close to our 18 yard box. Any team with a quality free kick taker will take advantage of the chances given by reckless lunges by him. He is undoubtedly talented but also lazy at times and the penalty was an unfortunate decision but that challenge did not need to be made by him. Gray was running into 4 other city players on the edge of the box and anybody whose ever played knows you don't dive in when in areas like that. Just stand him up.
