Cardiff City FC is delighted to confirm the signing of Emyr Huws from Wigan Athletic for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance. Jon Parkin is just up the road at Newport, although he's on a three match suspension. I can still remember his debut goal for Cardiff. At least I think it was his debut. Left foot thunderbolt, and that was more or less it.
I think that was definitely it. He SHOULD do well for the Port. I remember everytime he played against us he would bloody score and then he came to us and couldn't hit a barn door with a machine gun.
He's carrying too much weight really, but I guess he always did. I really like players in the Parkin mould.
I agree mate. If they lay off the pies and ***s (Alan Lee springs to mind) they can be an effing massive force, especially for set pieces. I fear the only set pieces Mr Parkin enjoys these days are set pieces of pie
