We haven't got one. Phelan about to do his first presser in the new media room at the training ground. please log in to view this image
Phelan confirms there'll be no new signing for tomorrow. So the starting XI will be the only eleven fit first team players we've got.
Matt Dean@mattdeanradio Mike Phelan says his future is uncertain beyond tomorrow's opener. On transfers: "We have to start again as targets have moved on." This really is turning into a pantomime, Ehab Allam couldn't run a ****ing bath, never mind a football club.
He also said he doesn't know if he'll still be in charge after tomorrow's match (BBC website). New manager incoming? Edit I am slow typist OLM beat me to it
Is anyone genuinely expecting anything other than a thrashing? I think conceding four goals at the very least is nailed on.
Phalan will tell the players tomorrow that it's a shambles and no one expects them to win so just to relax and do their best. The pressure will be on Leicester to give us the hammering that everyone else expects which may just play in our favour. Unless we concede in the first 5 minutes of course
Absofuckinglutely agree olm. In my opinion these two ****s are seriously bringing the game into disrepute and should be charged accordingly by the powers that be.. The way they think non of the rules apply to them, the name change, the concessions and all the other bollocks they kept telling us. You couldn't make it up but these two have managed to.
Yes, right at the top, where the cameras won't see it in shot. Rather begrudgingly printed IMO just to comply. (for once)
Despite everything. I do think we might pull it out the bag tomorrow and not lose. The team has absolutely zero pressure on them and no expectation. Everybody, even our own fans expect us to go down... So maybe that will be an advantage for the team and they'll just go out there and grind out a draw or even a win. Is that too optimistic these days?
It won't be a thrashing. I think all this may have galvanised the 'squad'. We will give them a game. I'm being disgustingly optimistic and going for 2.2. Hernandez at the double and livermore two own goals.
