That's different isn't it? Registration is done for every player on a season on season bases. He has no work permit so can't be registered. I never disputed who owns his contract. Everyone knows he's a Kazan player.
I think for his contract to remain valid he'd need to be registered with the Russian FA, regardless of whether he was officially named in their squad or not.
Work permit only entitles him to work mate, he's still effectively 'owned' by the club. Similar to when clubs buy and loan out when they haven't yet qualified, they are still registered to parent club.
I'm looking but the only thing I can find which uses the term registration is in line with registration to play so far.
If he wasn't registered to Kazan in some way he'd surely be a free agent right now and as such we could just sign him?
He's got a contract with them that what ties him to them. To register for something you're added to some kind of list. What list is this where if you don't sign up to it breaks your contract and makes you a free agent? Confusing me this A contract isn't a form of registration imo, it's a stand alone contract not affiliated to any other player or club. A player to club agreement.
