Hi lads. Just wondering if anyone knows anywhere aside from the stadium/Shearer's bar that will definitely be showing all of our games now that we're in the Championship? Beyond has been my regular haunt for a couple of years now (partly because it always has the game, partly because Charlie is the love of my life) however I've spoken to the lad in there and he has no idea if they'll be able to get it on as they just find internet streams and then put them on a big screen. The loss of streams could be the worst thing about relegation, any help or info would be appreciated
You get the feeling that its going to be a bit hit and miss. Try these links for info. http://worldsoccertalk.com/championship-tv-schedule/ https://www.facebook.com/Championship-football-streaming-303901349635714/timeline?ref=page_internal
A lad I know who is into his dodgy box doesn't have an answer to this one either Looks like we'll all just have to watch the mackems lose every week instead!
Not every week. Plus being in the Prem makes viewing very easy, unlike your scratters league. Ya dorty mag.
Aye, your right - - you'll never be on telly every week. Probably about the same amount as us actually - - smaller league, bigger draw.
The problem is that the PL has the US paying to broadcast every single game, so last season streams were easy to come by, Obviously it wasnt just America alot of other countries paid for the privilage to show games. The Championship has either missed a trick or failed to get the interest in foreign countries to invest in showing the games. In terms of revenue it would be small fish., but any kind of money the league could bring in to televise the championship would be better than nout! Its just not that much of a pull. If a big club like Chelsea/City/the other mancs or Liverpool were to go down (if that was to ever happen) you might see a change, but until then there will be very few links.
My memory tells me that when we were last in the Championshp you generally got one Championship game at 3pm streamed. Remember watching us play Middlesbroguh and Watford.
