Tried sharing it on the FB groups but it's getting deleted. I'll leave them to walk out on their own.

I don't agree with the protest in any shape or form & will not be joining in. However, I am pleased that there seems to be a bit of sense being shown in what is being proposed by the HCST as opposed to the mad rantings that have been constantly re-appearing on this forum - mostly by people who say they will be boycotting the match anyway!! I'm looking forward to the start of the season - protests aside - & let's hope for a 3 point start for the lads.

And you're right not to, that's been your consistent view

Will you be politely allowing those who do want to protest to get on with it though? Or will you be tutting or booing at all?

    I would hope not

Really? One of the few people pushing the walk-out and basically because their idea isn't supported, they're spitting their dummy out.

I dont think anyone on here supported a walkout did they? Certainly not enough to disagree that a small one would be worse than none

I don't think anybody on here supports a walkout.

I don't think many support it at all.

It's just a few people spouting off on those groups believing they can tell everybody what to do (as seen in that picture above). Hopefully they get kicked out if that's their attitude rather than them return at half time.

I personally thought a walk out would be more effective, but realistically you are more likely to get people to hold up cards than walk out.
Should have given everyone a free beer token that can only be used between 19:04 and 25:00, would have emptied the place.

There's the rub. Which, if either, is more representative? That Facebook group certainly has more members than here or any other supporters group I can think of, but neither here nor there has had a proper discussion or got organised.

That group seems to have an editorial policy, whereas this has a habit of rounding on anyone not following the perceived board mainstream wisdom, when in reality it tends to be the stated view of a minority of board users. It deters many from commenting.

It's why I keep banging on about communication and involvement. It's not a negative position, it's a positive one.

but the trouble is yet again that small groups doing their thing with no actual leadership do not feel part of the bigger collective ... this is a problem and will leave Saturday fractured at best

Their walkout is going to look ridiculous yet they're deluded enough to think it's going to be effective and everybody is going to do it.

The red card protest will be better supported and look more effective on camera than a few people leaving each exit. Least Sky - broadcasting the game - are aware of the red card protest.

Depending on how the game starts, with the two they have up front, if we are a goal or two down, the fans anger will quickly come to the fore, not at the players, but at the owners lack of backing Phelan and the remaining players.
This could ensure more people walk out at 19:04, or perhaps enter the playing field at 19:04, which I do not condone of course.
If Leicester get off to a flyer will certainly be interesting.

that's the thing , its not meant to be a competition , its meant to be a united protest ... and being honest the cameras .. will they really show cards ? or will they show empty seats ?

If you're talking about the Fans Forum group - they have 8,298 people in the group. Yet no more than 300 of them are "walking out". Of course, not everybody who have said they are walking out, will walk out/even attend the game. Likewise, some people may walk out who aren't in the group.

All that walkout group is doing is splitting fans up. All for a few people to their opinions over and over as if it counts more than the rest of ours.

You're right DMD - more organisation was needed much earlier for something more united and potentially more effective.
