Have to wonder how long that would work for - surely they would be even more riotous when they see that nothing actually happens?
Not sure what our net spend is so far but I'd seriously like to see the jigsaw completed. Hector £20-25m and Dahoud for same price. Benteke looks gone at around £30m so add £20m to our current outlay and we'll be in a much more solid position imo. I'd prefer Lucas to stay as cover for the CM midfield pairing.
If/When Benteke goes, we'll have a -tive spend of nearly 15m. Even if we buy the likes of Hector and Dahoud for 50m combined, our net sepnd will be +35m That doesn't included the likely departures of other players.. So far, the business done is OK, B-, get a quality LB and DM and that goes up to an B+/A-
yes that would be the wisest thing for his club to try to do. one of these "oh i promise to sell you" kind of deals. He needs to get a clear release clause in there and ignore that kind of stuff.
Was down to play golf with John Solako today, but he's a no show now, he's still working as Pardew's Number 2.. was going to ask if they've sorted Bentekers out yet.
nice link there... deffo good question. As a no show he really ought to be doing his job this week so can't blame him can you?
