Monaco have released former Chelsea defender Ricardo Carvalho. He's free and only 38, no doubt Ehab will be on the blower already (to be honest, I wouldn't mind if he was).
I'm just waiting for the 'Victor Anichebe to Hull City' thread to resurrect itself YET AGAIN! Another gash forward!
Great comments from Curtis in the Daily Fail today about how much closer this fiasco has brought them together..
Elements of Warren Joyce's great escape 'team' They have got much closer as we only hire a mini bus now for match days!!!
Transfer Centre Live @TransferCentreL Celtic, Hull City and six Championship clubs have all enquired about Leicester City midfielder Tom Lawrence.
We massively need some pace in the side but Jesus even in our predicament we should be able to do a lot better than this
We'l sign waaaaaaaait for ittttttt Absolutley no ****, why because if we were going too we'd of done it by now
We really are going to be going into the first match of a new PL season with one of Hudd or Livermore at CB on sat and 6 u21 players and a GK we've never seen play for us on the bench aren't we (unless Maloney passes a fitness test). I keep subconsciously telling myself, that no matter how inept Ehab is and how ridiculous pur situation is that it couldn't be that bad, but it really is isn't it.
I admire your positivity and you know football "is a funny old game", but when you see the strengthening that virtually every other team has done, we are quite literally miles and miles behind, and now it appears we are after pretty much any old ****e. If Ehab had wanted to sign anyone half decent, regardless of the situation with the manager etc. he would have done so by now. We are quite literally sitting ducks, and I have to be honest and say I have given up.
Its not positivity DJ... far from it and likely the reverse. Just saying that this group will give it their best shot and no one is going to crow about a team performance.
Then the ****wit that is Ehab will say look we don't need to buy any more players we didn't get thrashed by the champions. Edit. As for the remaining players giving it their all, I hope so but there were a number of players and a number of time last season when some of them looked like they didn't give a ****.
