The problem they faced was a lot of supporters were seemingly appeased by a new manager and signings - and considering they have to be seen as representing the fans, I think it was smart to put a temporary Holt to things.

I'm not one that was appeased, but can sympathise with them on this decision.

As card have advocated a ST /match boycott do they expect people to turn up every fortnight to stand outside ! Waving placards like some Greenham common protest.
As for their idea to try and hijack the club free ticket scheme by trying to get local residents to apply for the tickets and then donate them to card for redistribution good luck with that .

 

Thinking about it any tickets they do get will either be creamed off by CARD members themselves if not it means that CARD the advocates of the boycott have done a sneaky and bought Season Tickets don't it !!!

Their message should be a simple one - every home game will be disrupted until Duchatelet & Meire have gone. If that means the Club has to ban another 1,000 fans then so be it.

Instead they have constantly back tracked with hand wringing statements , as if signing Novak erased the stains of the last 2.5 years.

Worth mentioning that CARD has been busy fundraising over the summer - there must be plenty of money in the coffers for some more Arab and camel fancy dress costumes.
