Could the purchase of Pogba have a positive effect on our recruitment? If Pogba can go to a non CL playing club, then we should have a chance of recruiting top players even if we are not in Europe. It's all about what 'incentives' we provide them ? Unless we recruit top players we will remain behind. We need a clear out. Benteke and ballotelli have been disappointments but also for me Firmino has not met expectations either.

Pogbas transfer is only a negative effect on recruitment and football. A player which never performed well at the Euro's, has attitude issues and has done nothing in his career on note to give the value Man u have paid for. Pogba's transfer has just confirmed that it doesn't matter that your not a world class football to get a record breaking fee. I would never want us to go down the route on paying record breaking numbers on players who you don't know how they will turn out. We killed ourselves with breaking records in the club with Carroll/Benteke/Lallana etc.
