I haven't said anything different to what you've posted. Now going to a Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs etc shows ambition. He's going to Everton because they're probably doubling his wages.
I fully agree, but if someone is offering you double for the same job, you are going to go. This is a move about money, rather than ambition.
And I said would you do any different? For example would you go to a company to get salesman of the year award? Winning a cup whilst nice is not going to be the primary reason for going to a club for most players. The wages are what is going concern most people. And whether you are earning £1k a week or £10k, when looking at other opportunities you are mostly looking to better what you have now.
I can't see us going for bony as well as baston. Three players who all will expect to be the primary striker.
Speaking of family , most of his are English and maybe they all would like to see him in England . Liverpool is a nice spot a stone throw from Wolverhampton , where Willams was born .
A very astute bit of business I think. Williams had a good season with us but is now coming to the end of his career within the next few seasons. As Roof says if anyone wants to go there's not much a club can do about it these days - particularly if it's coupled with the right price. I am concerned that this is last minute though. Lots of quality traffic out the door not a great deal of quality coming in.
