Other clubs seem to manage a change of ownership in a straight forward way without all the cloak and dagger stuff so this just does not make sense.
Quite right. There's no logic and hasn't been any at the club for a long time. When the name change was denied and Allam put the club up for sale, why then go about removing the words Hull City from all correspondence, programs, badge and advertising if you're selling? Just to piss the fans off? Surely a new owner would reinstate our name? Surely? Why bring in a ridiculous membership scheme that few want if you're selling? Surely a new owner would take a look and either get rid of it altogether or bring concessions back? Why start talks with prospective buyers only to put all talks on hold until September? Especially as the transfer window closes at the end of August? Why say it's to concentrate on new signings then don't make any? Why all this when you're selling the club? There is no logic here. Zero sense. Probably what Ehab wants. Keep us guessing. You can draw your own conclusions. All I can think is him trying to find a way to get the family cash back whilst ****ing the club over to leave it in a right mess. But to be fair, that wouldn't piss me off. Get them out and we'll rebuild the club from whatever they leave behind.
After three years of defending everything they've done with one pathetic excuse after another that's the best you can come up with? Sad ****.
If Burns and OLM were correct and the Americans were in pole position then the Chinese would not have completed due diligence when Ehab announced the postponement of the negotiations until September. If the examination of the books have now been completed and a final offer made and accepted then the paperwork will be drawn up pending approval by the relevant authorities. In the meantime the vacant position of manager and potential transfers will be being discussed with the potential new owners. Given the animosity between the supporters and the Allams I fully expect us to be the last to know what's happening.
You were quick to rubbish all the speculation about the American takeover bid even going as far as saying they didn't have the money and yet now you are convinced this Chinese offer is the real thing and almost a done deal, are you in the know?
I offered no excuse for their actions, it's not my place to. I'm sad that they have let City down so badly, but it seems **** happens. I can also find no excuse for you. You are the worst kind of racist, you don't even have the backbone to admit it. Spineless racist bastard.
No. I'm not in the know. I guessed who was talking to Burns and OLM and wasn't impressed. I know a bit about Peter Grieve from the internet. Besides the Allams wouldn't have treated a serious (in their view) buyer the way they treated the Americans. It verged on contempt. The Allams do their business in private. They wouldn't have liked the constant drip drip drip to Burns. Nobody knew anything about the Chinese bidder until a name appeared on Sky, one of the Allams trusted media outlets. Implying that it is correct. Assem Allam is dying and the family have had enough of owning Hull City. Its all been posted on here. it was just a question of joining the dots and coming to 4. Burns, Buckingham and the supporters haven't been kept up to date about what's happening. Why would they bother if they're selling and will be gone by the end of next month? With James Mooney leaving for TWS and it signals the end of the Allam family ownership of Hull City. At least to me.
They are businessmen first and foremost. If they sell for anything like £80 million they will walk away with a tidy profit. They will leave a financially sound football club with a sound investment in the academy. The record books will show they are our most successful owners to date. The Chinese may, if they kept their word about selling us to a good home, invest in our club and take us to the next level. However they will be remembered more for their failures than their successes. Karma works in strange ways. Despite Steve Bruce being forced out and the lack of transfers I'm quite optimistic about our future. I always tend to look on the bright side.
You've been an embarrassment for three years, sucked the **** straight from their arses. Defended & agreed with every pathetic thing they've done. You're a ****. Hey, but feel free to call me a racist if you think it gives you some leverage in justifying your now changed position, although I don't think you know or understand what it means.
It's not going to quell the protests. When someone's hanging onto a cliff with one hand, you don't think it's over, you stamp on their ****ing fingers. Unless you hve a chainsaw at hand.
I'm sorry you're disappointed with the person you've guessed we were talking to, why don't you guess again, you might come up with someone you rate this time?
Looks like the Chinese takeaway could have some wings and be of merit.....lets just wish on our lucky stars.......
Burnsy's tweeting these may be our new owners shortly: http://www.renhebusiness.com/English/about/index.asp I hope our new Chairman is Mr Wang Hongfang
