Brain storming is exactly what should be happening, sadly it doesn't seem to be encouraged, or acted upon.
How about... They're creepy and they're kooky, Mysterious and spooky, They're altogether ooky, The Allam Family. I like the bit where they're almost giving everyone the V…
OK so far we have the whole stadium in a sea of red at numerous time throughout the game on live TV against the reigning champions. The sea of red has already been done and now there is even more to protest about, it will happen. A walkout touted on some facebook page with 14000 followers of which 100 are up for it. A pitch invasion, i think anyone going on the pitch could get a stadium ban for a year. If the police and stewards were onside you may have a chance, like protests in France when the police just let protests go on and arrest no one. But we have the police and club who will do everything to identify those on the pitch and punish them to the max. If you have any other ideas best put them out there for discussion and be quick about it.
We have more than that on this thread alone, but that's not strictly the point. It needs co-coordinating and organising.
There are some good ideas that can't actually be coordinated publicly, as publicising them would get them stopped. I like the squash ball idea, but if the Trust start telling people to bring squash balls to lob on the pitch, then people will have them taken from them on the way in. There'll be the cards, there'll be banners, there's a protest outside for those who are boycotting (which I think involves a march from the Lair as well, with the option of continuing on to William Gemmell to watch the game)) and I'm sure other things will take place, hopefully not some of the more extreme ones mentioned, getting yourself banned isn't a great idea.
If it's an organised pitch invasion and say even 5,000 got onto the pitch do you really think they'll ban everyone? (Saying that it is the Allams) In previous instances of pitch invasions as a protest I don't believe the perpetrators have received bans from the ground.
Ultimately, what will force a sale, is a buyer. Protests are a way of unifying people by getting them involved in the ideas, action and thinking behind it, and creating a platform to build from, or at least they should be.
What if instead of going on the pitch everyone just marched down to the front of the stand and stood there with the banners/cards/shoes in the air etc... at kick off and stayed there? That would leave the stands empty which looks bad on TV, all banners at the front so highly visible and leaves the club unable to ban or prosecute and if everyone camped out for as long as they could then it would be impossible to ignore every time the ball goes near any of the touchlines. I suggested earlier about delaying the game by sitting in the centre circle but they'll be one or two poor sods made an example of and if anyone got carried away or the police/stewards got heavy handed and ignited everyone then we look like hooligans. Don't give the media or Allam bummers any stick to beat us with. We need to be united, dignified and clear.
Sadly, the only really effective protest is not to be there, imagine, no home supporters in the ground, and don't return until those bungling vandals have departed, if only.
I seriously doubt there are enough collective brain cells to form a cohesive plan. I just wish everyone would instead concentrate their energies on supporting the team........there I go again, being controversial !!!
Is that the same as ''there I go again burying my head in the sand, there's no problem here''? You really have nothing to offer to a thread containing the word PROTEST ....... don't bother eh?
Pitch invasions ....... seriously, this makes people look like C***S, Banners by all means, chants and songs obviously, TV is there so as many as possible go to the cameras and vent your frustrations but come 3pm the children on the pitch along with the few grown ups that are left to play football need all the support they can get. For a song I would suggest his name is ehab It means a gift he a useless c**t the fans are mift hes a c**t hes a c**t hes a c**t Any tune will do or just shout it out if you want something less elaborate just shout out Ehab is a c**t....... has a sort of ring to it I have used the word C**T a lot in this post, im not proud but it seems appropriate and I was an Allam supporter up until the Summer.........
what if a new owner announcement came out before the game and was verified etc to be actually 100% happening ? .. as on the other thread OLM has said he has heard the players have been told that a new owner is imminent ? If that happens, Phelan or whoever is in charge and these 5 bids on players come through would that actually change things ?
Ohhh, so near yet so far ...... I was right with you until your last sentence, better late than never though. Welcome aboard, standing room only for late-comers I'm afraid.
I meant change things in a protest stance , as basically everything you will be protesting against that can change will have basically .. uh I dunno ... changed ? Would you protest against people who are not even going to be at the match and have actually done what you want and sold the club if this is announced before the match and proved to be accurate ?
Not sure what happened with the Blackpool fans. Found this but why seek out these two when there were hundreds on the pitch including a bloke on a mobility scooter. http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-lancashire-33094171
