https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/aug/05/steven-caulker-sierra-leone-charity-trip-qpr A really good read Hope he continues the signs that he's knuckling down, and if he does that then we've got a good centre half at our disposal.
Good for him, hope the experience reminds him of what appropriate behaviour is next time he has a beer in his hand.
If he gets his head down, and puts in a good shift, then we could have a decent partner for Lynch at CB - lets hope that this trip has re-focused his attention to hard graft and we all get to see the benefits, but if the old Caulker re-appears, the JFH must get rid
It's a joy to see footballers put something back into a community whose needs are so desperate; full marks to the man. If this is a sign of a growing maturity, he and we will all benefit.
I don't expect him to have changed much, or it will be a temporary change and then he'll eventually go back to old ways. People don't change that much, unless he's had some kind of spiritual awakening out there!
Interesting read and fair play to Caulker for committing to such a project and seeing it through (at least stage one). I have a new found respect for him and hope he can do the business on the pitch for us.
Let's hope it's opened his eyes to what's really important in life, and he can act more like a decent human being and represent this on the pitch !
Good for him. If he gets his head straight, and this is a good indication that he has, we have a very good player on our hands.
It's definitely different to a city full of Whites, is what he was probably thinking is why he thought everything this way about the trip
