I'm pretty sure they would Economy (outside of the football bubble) is such that comms roles will be getting cut in lots of areas I'd expect that most interviewees will come from recruitment agencies anyway who will have been informed the range of salary they are expecting to pay Assuming they manage the club in a normal way....yeah yeah I know
Really genuinely sad if James is also leaving. I know many don't seem to have a high opinion of him but he's a passionate guy who - at least when I was there - loved his job and loved dealing with City fans from all over. Went above and beyond with me and made my trip quite memorable. Sad if Keith and James have both left in the same week as they were the two I had direct interaction with. He goes with my best wishes.
Got a feeling that the local media i.e. Phil Buckingham/HDM and Burnsy/RH will be informed in the coming week, they at not welcome at the KC.
I am going to apply. I can get one of my mates who is in Marketing to beef up my CV. I know **** all about Marketing, which is the same as Ehab running a football club. I would love it, just love it if I got an interview.
Sky and Yorkshire Post are the preferred media vehicles these days. That naughty step is getting mighty crowded.
Its only taken him 3 bloody years! And ive found some of Mooney's responses to fans on Twitter, quite ****ish if im being honest.
Best place for him. Surely Escab has not tired of his best buddy or was it that Mooney did not pray homage as required to the boy blunder ? will it take him that long to clear his desk out ? Does it matter when the boy blunder is the boss ? Lets face it do we need a communications person anymore @ the club ?
He was but Escab thinks that one of the long term injured players can do the job. More cost cutting ideas from the boy blunder.
Maybe so. But as a BBC employee I don't think they can stop Burnsy from doing his job at least for the BBC. Entry to the media room maybe something else though.
I think you've hit the nail on the head there - a marketing and Comms manager shouldn't be dealing with fans one on one. It seems this role at City sees the incumbent wear a huge number of hats - such as fans liaison - because there's nobody else to do it meaning they haven't got time to do their proper job.
I think what he did with Syd (and others, probably) was excellent and to be commended. But you have the point I have made for a very long time: he has not carried out his role as he should. There may have been extenuating circumstances, (two Scrotes to start with) but he allowed himself to be driven, when, in his field of expertise, he should have been the driver. I think a young family and a bit of continuity might have been important to him, so I wish him well and hope he has learnt something from his experience with Hull City AFC. Life goes on for us all.
