No wonder bookies and on line betting sites are all over the place.....they must of made a fortune on this book alone
Usually, I just let Hull City related news naturally filter through to me. But I constantly find myself drawn to Twitter or any source of potential news in hope that something miraculous happens. I'll be brave and admit I defended the Allams for a long time when most were aggressively against them. Clutching onto the fact they had in essence been the greatest owners we had ever had. But slowly but surely as the months and years passed by it just became more and more apparent at just how deluded, vindictive, arrogant, disconnected, egocentric, megalomaniac, stubborn and corrupt. I just can't see why someone who genuinely did want to offer something great to the City became so poisoned and corrupted. Owning Hull City for them has been what it is like for Gollum to possess the ring in Lord of the Rings. In some dictatorship King Henry VIII style. The best we can hope is that semi decent manager is brought in we sell nobody, we bring in 6 and the club is sold at the end of the window.
Who will it be? Come on, lets have your names......... Who will post number 3000.... Oh the excitement. Or is that the excrement.
Assem Allam wanted to buy Hull City for the people of Hull & to be remembered as highly as Harold Needler is, but will go down being remembered as badly as David Lloyd & Stephen Hinchcliffe are Never have I seen someone pluck defeat from the jaws of victory as he has done He may have made a lot of money selling diesel engines but he's totally clueless on how to run a football club & how to treat lifelong supporters (of which he is not & never has been) He has gone from saviour to pariah in 4 years. Well done, what a great achievement!!!!
And in the space of what 3 weeks managed to reduce the value of something from £100 million to... shall we just say, something less. Thats how great a businessman he is... Maybe its dementia as well as cancer besetting him.
I know it won't happen but I'd have Phil Brown back because he's a very good coach and all the better when Sam Allardyce is not attached to a competing club. Also he's a character and as we're already up the creek we might as well!
I see the thread 'New Owners' changed to 'No New Owners', so why isn't this thread 'No New Manager'???
