If you didn't think Hernandez and Robbo wouldn't be tapped up by 31 August... you're daft.. of course they will be / would be..
Coleman 6/5, Phelan 7/2, Zola 6/1 are the latest best odds. Under normal circumstances, at this late stage you would have to say it's looking like one of the first two in the betting but with Rodney Trotter running the show, who knows?
Phelan does need us, he wants the manager/head coach job & he's obviously willing to work for these ****wits to get it!
Hmm, which words and cock eyed logic are you referring to? Also, it speaks volumes about me? Or them? And what does' it speaks volumes' mean? Just say it if you have summat to say. If you're gonna have a go, at least try to be coherent. Weird you're trying to have a go in my direction after all the, erm, banter you have with other people on here. What is your problem? Is it because you wrongly read my first post that you responded to in this thread and can't bare to admit it? If your problem with me goes deeper, let's hear it.
You asked a question, I answered. You tried to make some peculiar issue and failed. Some sad sacks liked it. It's quite stright forward. Back to your point, the fit and proper test has nothing to do with what you inferred. That's it really.
A bit of common sense and realism is hardly a wind up. Crying wolf and dummy spitting about every single thing is hardly a way to resolve anything. Fact is, anyone from outside the club be it other teams fans or national media looking in on this forum will see nowt but a bunch of spoilt brats no better, or in fact even worse than the people they're pissing their pants about. It makes our plight look more like justice.
Well there you go. Dutch replies to a post he's not read properly then gets shirty when you pull him up on it. Then, when you ask him some reasonable questions regarding what he's typed he goes off on a tangent about failing in posts. So, although he has a superiority complex on here, he is no better than you or I. Remember that when he tries to pull you up on something.
My issue with Phelan is that it feels like he's the snake in the grass. He saw how the Allams treated the club and fans last season. He saw how they treated Steve Bruce. He saw how they treated Keith Berschin - yet he's said or done nothing. Keep quiet and I might land the top job. Well - looks like his plan worked.
If you think about the mounting feeling of anger and how the protest plans are gathering steam. If I was Ehab how could I torpedo this (or at least dampen it down)? Without going back on the name and membership etc. He could do the following... 1 - Appoint a new manager (not Phelan) 2 - Announce he new man has a budget (say £25 million) 3 - Pay the money to start brining in players The protests would still be there but us fans would want to get behind the new manager and players. To achieve maximum levels of protests - appoint no-one, bring in no-one & let Hernandez/Robertson go.
The Allams haven't spoken to Phelan since a brief chat ahead of the Scunthorpe game, I don't think it's going to be him (unless everyone else turns it down).
