Rumours that Arsenal have today had an oficial bid of £30 million for Mahrez rejected .... and that they have returned with £35m (hopefully rejected again) ... he is definitely more than half as good as Pogba ... indeed I'd rather have him http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/m...with-ranieri/story-29605853-detail/story.html
Confirmed that no bid put in. Once again this is lazy journalism based on nothing more than a twitter rumour at best. Sky are doing their upmost best to destabilise our club by reporting literally any rumour no mater how accurate (or not as the case has always been). If you wanted to see Sky's bias towards Arsenal then this transfer window is the best example: a club that has literally done nothing in the market has seemingly managed to fill the largest majority of air time and website coverage. My motivation for hoping we do well this year is genuinely to stick another middle finger up at the mainstream media
... there was no bid ed ... just the Arsenal obsessed Press etc again blow bubbles out of their collective arses ... we are their obsession ... it does get quite amusing ... the "Daily Cannon" gleefully reports that our interest in a 'Brazilian winger' (who is actually a striker) must mean that Mahrez is on his way to them ... desperate stuff indeed
Sky are just making work for themselves, inventing a rumour & bid, running the story only to then run another 'exclusive' that there wasn't a bid. Obviously nothing to do now the Pogba saga has ended.
All of today's stories say he's staying. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/aug/10/riyad-mahrez-not-leave-leicester?CMP=share_btn_tw
BIG DEVELOPMENT!!! Mahrez has followed Yaya Sanogo on twitter - this means that he is definitely moving to Arsenal as he obviously did that to ask for his shirt number which he had at his previous club!!!* http://metro.co.uk/2016/08/11/arsen...on-twitter-to-take-his-shirt-number-6061466/? *Ignore the fact that if the number 22 was important to him, he could have got it when GTF left and it wasn't used for half a season until Gray got it.
The Arsenal media bias is sickening. Riyad follows a fellow footballer on Twitter and legitimate news outlets print nonsense. Would the media print the same b*ll*cks if Payet followed Zlatan? I very much doubt it. Its really very pathetic and the Gooner fans that actually read into are thick and pathetic
... an actual interview with Riyad Mahrez ... yest there are two or three clubs that would interest him if they came calling ... but the crucial bit is "in the world" .... answers on a post card but I'll bet that Arsenal and Chelsea are not included http://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2016/riyad-mahrez-messi-congratulated-us-for-the-title/
If he don't go this he'll go next. Again the key is to keep getting top players in so when players like Mahrez goes we ain't weakened. Making a few quid along the way's nice too.
... since the article broke yesterday the UK press has exploded with "renewed hope for Arsenal on Mahrez signing" stories ... what complete, albeit typical, bollox ... the lad has said that only 2 or 3 clubs "in the world" could tempt him away ... now Real and Barca are nailed on for 2 of them ... and with all due respect I very much doubt the third is Arsenal
