Totally this. I think both will bang a few in for us, it may not be enough to give us a shot at promotion but that is where we are at the moment, people need to get a grip. Are we really at doom and gloom stage before a ball has even been kicked.

Because I know who our main forward targets were,and they've all been blown out of the water.Anyone we manage to get in now,will not be anyone that the scouts found.There should've been a bigger pool of players looked at in the first place,it's criminal !

 

How do you know who our targets are/were? How do you know how big a pool of players we look at? We signed a bloke from Legia Warsaw a few weeks ago.

It was well known we were looking at him and Cousins,Bidwell and Lynch were also well touted. JFH wanted Sehrou Gerassy,the young French sriker but that fell through and the the young French winger who had family issues and decided he didn't want to leave. It's no secret we want Bamford on loan,just like the Icelandic chap we can't afford to buy them. The striking issue is the main concern because we knew the 2 French players weren't coming weeks ago !

 

For all you know we could have bid for 100 other players.

 

We may well have mate,but if that's the case we've had an awful lot of knockbacks !

 

We missed out on Bodvarsson, but I'm sure there will be other strikers lined up
