Hopefully, Siggy has been told of what's happening, who is coming in ...... .... or he's had a fantastic pay rise ...... (Hopefully both!)
And what makes you think we won't have that coming up? Remember now you wanted rid of the whole strike force, with the exception of Emnes they have done what you want. The players coming in I'm sure will do a better job than those who has left.
The guy that gave me this is the same guy that told me Ash has gone, I thought he would have maybe got this one wrong, but he was right again by the looks of things, he said the club is full out on the striker front, everything else can wait, of course if Huw pulled his finger out and signed a couple of serious strikers, then maybe they will look at the CB position if time permits, but at the minute time is fast running out, so I'm not that convinced we will see a replacement for Ash. Of course if we are propping up the table at Christmas, then maybe needs must, what a way to run our club aye..........
To be fair we got amat, Fernández and hoorn, if we get an injury we got that untd kid on stand-by, not ideal but I'll take that and concentrate of getting a striker.
Yes controlled by local people, one of those whom some on here want to get rid of because he's not doing something that they are demanding, like spending money without thought or care.
It is a squad game and that is something we don't have, Do you believe we have improved the squad, everyone else will have we have gone backwards, not even stood still, No sign of a striker, still the Ayew situation and our captain and leader on his way, so yeas we are falling apart at the seams, we have time to sort it, but I just don't think the board will sort it. Why don't people want to come here, maybe they can see what is happening as well. It is about opinions and yours is we are fine, mine isn't. We will have to agree to disagree I think.
I've got it on good authority that magic daps is coming out of retirement. He's had enough of touring schools and wants to smash some goals in. In trunds we trust!
Its that make do attitude that is my worry, not ideal but we will make do. I doubt there is another Pl club doing that. I have no problem with Amat and Fernandez, its just we need another experienced centre half and isn't that utd boy a full back
Who's demanding that? you sound like Huw, making things up as you go along, show me one poster who has demanded reckless spending?............
I guess we will, but is your falling apart actually happening, you believing everything in the press is only underlined that Siggy signed a new deal today, despite a £30m price tag. The fact is until a player actually leaves he hasn't done so. People on here complain about players like Gomis being failure here, when he goes those same people are moaning that we have got rid of him. You just can't make it up! The club knows what's needed and they will bring in players that we need, despite the hysteria on here. Really patience is a virtue !
Yes, but I also expected the morons to have signed at least 1 striker 11 days before the new season starts.
Ok here's my take on the Ash deal. I think it's accepted that if we sell him that it will no doubt weaken our defence. Therefore more likely to finish in a lower place in the league. It is my understanding that for every position you finish higher in the league you get 2m more. So over the course of 2 seasons (the amount of time ash has left on his contract) would it be unreasonable to assume that we could accumulate 5 positions lower from the loss of ash? I don't think so. Going from 10th to 15th is never a great jump in the premier league and without ash in the team becomes a hell of a lot more likely. So that's 10m less in league positions right there. I think it's better value for us as a club to keep him on for the remainder of his contract. I rate Fernandez and Amat highly, but with Kingsley/Taylor and naughton on the other side, our defence severely lacks a leader figure. Cork as captain for my is the best choice should he leave, but you still need an organiser at the back. Fernandez is good at following instructions from ash but not sure how he would do giving them out. The value for me lies in keeping him here.
Good that you should mention that, it's all changing, maybe someone should let Huw know.................. Link: http://www.thisisanfield.com/2016/05/new-loan-rules-201617-will-affect-liverpool-next-season/ Link: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-play-Football-League-clubs-bound-suffer.html Football League clubs have been operating skilfully within this system for many years, and can do so again when the window for emergency loan moves is opened next Monday, until the end of March. It does not have to be a genuine emergency to apply, like it might be if a Premier League club had three goalkeepers injured and needed to apply to the Board for special permission. Rather, it is a loophole designed to allow clubs further down the pyramid to survive with a smaller playing staff. FIFA, however, have closed the loophole and from the start of 2016-17 all 92 clubs will be forced to abide by the fixed transfer window which exists in the Premier League.
Hang on hang on, people are not complaining that gomis, Eder or Paloschi have gone they're complaining about having no recognised striker in the squad with little time left. Most fans will say that they'd rather have them in the team than no one. You can't say that the situation as it stands is ideal.
One Striker sorted..... http://sportwitness.co.uk/swansea-city-beat-nottingham-forest-transfer-offer-attractive/ Vasquez next ?
