Talk is rife on the Liverpool boards that this is gonna happen very soon.

Also have a cousin who lives in Liverpool and the gossip there is that they feel its only a matter of time before its going to happen.

After his recent outburst and fine, hes even more unhappy and added to the fact that our owners accept cash on delivery its highly probable in the next few days.

Now to my point (this is not necessarily another enrique thread leaving the club as we all know its going to happen its just a question of when).

We are very unhappy with the situation re the club and the transfer situation (I say we as a collective and in general) but the sooner this Enrique saga gets wrapped up the better.

We need to move on from Barton and Enrique now and try and look forward to the new season. I feel that Ashley believes he can use youth and current team members and I am afraid he is going to learn the hard way. We WILL struggle and we WILL be in trouble maybe not this season but possibly next as no investment in new players will eventually take its toll.

No disrespect to the young lads, I am all for using our youth team and develop them into players but not by throwing them in at the deep end. That could potentially ruin their careers. The expectations on them would be immense and if we did get relegated they would feel responsible. But we all know who would be.

When you have an estimated £1 billion fortune of which £250 million is tied up in a club and the amount of stick we give him. Could it be possible that he is prepared to take the hit on the club and his investment and is getting pay back and making us suffer.

Ah so many things going around my head that really should not be.

Can our Youth Players step up!:emoticon-0107-sweat

I'd happily drive that miserable whining little bitch to Liverpool myself, sick of him and his ****ing whinging, crying like a baby for champions league football - only no1 in the champions league actually wants him so what does he do? takes the pay rise and go to a team competing in exactly the same as us next season! Why? Because they're "rebuilding" ... but if anyones actuually keeping count this is Liverpool 20th rebuild in 20 years! Heard it all before about this title challenge, yet still players fall for the bollox.

**** offf Jose, had enough of you now and left back is one of the easiest spots to replace, i.e. Stephen Warnock would do a job there and be an adequate replacement. So bye bye u sad Spanish bastard, enjoy "Europe" u lying piece of ****.

Really? I'm pretty sure that whilst Liverpool aren't in the CL this season, they will be pushing for a top 4 spot and possibly even a title challenge. Where as we will be scrapping around the bottom of the table with our new signings out injured relying on kids.

What you posted is frankly stupid.

    <yikes>

I think that Fergie will start there, as he has spent the preseason training to be LB.

Looks as if he's back of to Russia.

On Enrique I'm bored with his whinging, just go and hopefully (praying) Pardew will get a decent replacement.

I can't see replacements coming in at this stage. I'd imagine we are looking to young players to step up. Young Ferguson, Dummett and Kadar will probably be our options. It obviously may seem insane to suggest we will sell our only senior left back and replace him with a left winger, a centre half and a unknown youngster, but I can honestly see it happening. I feel sorry for young Ferguson. He's blatantly a left winger. I worry about the effect on him, but I suppose you can switch back. We saw this with Richardson at Sunderland and N'Zogbia here. Just seems a bit silly to me. With Kadar again the lad is centre half and he should really be replacing Campbell. This leaves young Dummett. I know nothing about him, but the fact he was taken from the reserves to America, and has been training with the seniors, maybe they think he can step up. Fingers crossed across the booard really.

Of course we have plenty time to sign someone so its not unthinkable they'll follow up the interest in M'Bengue or someone like that. As much as I think its mad to go in without a left back, I'd rather give the aforementioned youngsters a go than ****ing Wayne "Heart like a split pea" Bridge. We can't go from the bull to him. I wish Enrique all the best and thank him for his effort and committment to the cause in his time here. Unfortunately sometimes players outgrow clubs and I think that is the case here. They have a short career and he needs to kick on. Truth be told we can't afford to have a progressive transfer policy and even if we had money it would still take some doing such is the gulf at present. I will always be thankful to Enrique for sticking around when the going got tough when most foreigners (Bassong, Martins) would have jumped ship. I feel the club could have handled the situation better but such is life. They should have given him a deadline by which to sign and told him he'd be sold if the contract was not signed. Then they could have planned for the season ahead by getting him in for pre season. Any signing now will not have time to get used to our tactics etc which is a shame.

Sorry but I simply can't agree with any of that. Firstly, Liverpool are a lot better than us at the moment, their club is no longer a mess and they will be challenging for honours/Europe next season. Also how many time has he publicly 'whinged and cried' for Champions League football? Not many.

I'm thankful to Jose for staying with us when our club was a real mess, and there are signs it could go that way again so I do not blame him at all for wanting to leave, and I hope he does well at Liverpool (if that is indeed where he is going).

No! Contrary to popular belief, Mike Ashley is not an idiot or a sadist and is an astute business man. You act like he's a baddie in a cartoon or something. No-one ever goes into these things wanting to ruin everything, he just doesn't understand certain aspects of football club ownership and has made some mistakes. It's also worth pointing out that we don't know everything that's going on, and Ashley is, without doubt, taking a much more long term view to the club's finances than we ever would.

Just read the reported fee for Zhirkov is £13 million! If he's worth that, Jose's worth £20 million at least!

Liverpool will not be title challengers or in the top 4. They have bought overpriced players who will not compete with what Man U, Man City, Arsenal and Chelsea have.

on the bbc gossip its rumoured hes leaving this week for...........5million! if this happens i would be gobsmacked we bought him for close to 7m and hes improved so mcuh since then, surely id rather have him here playing well then just pocket 5m for him now, even if he ends up leaving for free he could be worth more than 5m to us in this year alone.
