Just for fun I thought I'd put up this poll to see how our the members of our board feel with the team so far and try to determine whether we're positive, negative or indifferent about the forthcoming season.
Upper mid, anything above 12th is going well n the right direction and even If we do hold on to Charlie I'm not changing
Here's what fans think in this Sky poll ... http://www.skysports.com/football/n...bet-championship-table-make-your-predictions? and here's what Olly thinks ... http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/spor...n-holloway-tips-brentford-relegated-11688676? I personally think 8th - 10th is a realistic prediction unless we make any significant signings in the meantime.
I am a glass overflowing sort of person....so I am the first to vote outside the envelope. May change my mind several times soon, but surely 6th is possible
Without a proper striker we've no chance of challenging the Play-Off places, so it's bottom half for me with the current squad...
I'm an optimistic person and all I can put is upper Middle, to get higher we would need an unforeseen hero to emerge. I wouldn't be disappointed either, always felt we needed a couple of seasons to rebuild, lick our wounds before we head back into the fire.
I agree with Sooper about the striker problem - if Polter gets injured, we're criminally thin on the ground 10th or below at present
I voted for play-offs because I didn't want to look foolish. Actually, I think we're going to win the thing.
I always get an irrational surge of optimism about a week before the first game. And to be fair, character, good organisation and consistency will do it, you don't need stars - Boro, Hull and Burnley did it last time FFS. It's a crap quality but very competitive league. Who knows?
The quality looks to have gone up if anything. Newcastle, Norwich, Villa, Sheff Wed and Derby all look nailed on top six to me.
I'm a bit of dreamer, dreaming top 6 , with Polter and Chery forming a formidable partnership scoring 15 goals a season each....in reality probably top 10,
