    Not sure how he can definitively deduce that it was flown into the sea by a pilot, as opposed to running out of tit and hitting the sea of it's own volition, from a few minute sections of wreckage like?

    Sounds like he's jumped the gun here to me.

    Surely there'd be a full(-ish) plane out there on the seabed with less bits smashed off if it was a controlled landing then it sunk. Sounds like a Bond movie, tbh.
