I've just looked into my crystal ball, and I suggest we scrap them. Through the mist, there is shadows telling me that many pre season friendlies will incur injuries, something about a gypsy curse.

It sort of goes like this....buy player...play friendly...gets injured...out for season.

    Don't say you weren't warned!

brb had a Scally moment - when he heard how much he was quoted, he thought he was going to be buying a girl called Heather - not a bunch of weeds............... I think Scally adopts the same principle when acquiring players for The Gills

Another player in hospital after the L Orient game !
What I 'd like to know is -How ? The report doesn't expand on the 'mechanics' of the 'collision.' ........................http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36975528

Oh - and by the way - I couldn't resist the tenuous link to the Gills game at Leyton Orient - it's what you get from me when there's no news about new players.

He also said we over achieved last season. Yeah right' top 6 all season apart from last couple of weeks when we blew the play offs whilst the might of Burton and Walsall gain promotion.

gioblues - in that case, who are we playing on Tuesday 18th October ?............... ( however, I do understand your sentiments )

** Walsall did not get promoted - but it must have felt like it for their fans, after winning a game from 0-2 down -- I wonder if JE was trying to practise that in our recent friendlies !
