An attacking midfielder I wouldn't have issue with. Sounds like just another lazy piece of journalism.
Well we need M'Vila back, then we will be OK in mid-field, but full back is the real priority, we have no one good enough to play at right back atm.
DM has had a good look at the youngsters on the pre-season tour so maybe he has a promotion in mind and save the money for up front.
After the polls Newcastle, Norwich and Middlesbrough, England comes a detailed proposal for Filip Helander. The defender, output from Verona, was tried by Sunderland, the club engaged in the Premier League. Helander is tied Hellas from a contract due to expire in 2019. The most concrete track for its sale, at the time, it represented just from Sunderland. http://www.hellas1903.it/calciomercato/mercato-verona-per-helander-ce-il-sunderland/?refresh_ce-cp
Adnan Januzaj has been left out of Manchester United’s 23-man squad travelling to Gothenburg today, amid speculation of a move to Sunderland. The 21-year-old winger is thought to be a player who David Moyes would like to bring to Sunderland this summer - although sources in Manchester claim Manchester United have not received any offers for him or team-mate Marouane Fellaini - also on Moyes’ wishlist - yet. Belgian international Januzaj broke through at Manchester United under Moyes - one of the few positives of the new Sunderland manager’s short spell at Old Trafford. However, he failed to convince Moyes’ successor Louis van Gaal, while also flopping while on loan at Dortmund last season. Januzaj had hoped that Jose Mourinho’s arrival at United would offer him a fresh chance to kick-start his career, but the arrival of Henrikh Mkhitaryan has only added more competitions for places out wide in the Red Devils’ attack. Januzaj did get an opportunity to impress his new manager. He came off the bench in their first friendly against Wigan and also headed out with the squad to China where he appeared in the defeat to Dortmund. However, with many of Manchester United’s Euro stars returning to the mix for Mourinho, Januzaj has not been included in their 23-man squad that travel to Gothenburg, Sweden where United will play a friendly against Galatasaray.
If this same ****ing about pre season and lack of preparation somehow happens next year then I'm going to be royally pissed off. I'll let them off with it (once again) this time as Sam leaving was out of our hands and we've got a class manager now but it'd better not happen again any time soon.
Keep waking up and hoping to see some movement, the growth of the last 7 months have been wasted over this window with no real strength added
It's every year. I can see Ellis rubbing his hands 'sweet, we do **** all blame it on Allardyce situation...'. Twat.
http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/david-moyes-plotting-raid-manchester-8529195 David Moyes is planning a double raid on Manchester United for Marouane Fellaini and Adnan Januzaj . The new Sunderland boss would like to sign both in a permanent deal but that would cost in excess of £45million, with Fellaini valued by United at around £20m and at least £25m for winger Januzaj. That’s too pricey for the Black Cats, who spent around £20m in the January window to help secure their Premier League status under former boss Sam Allardyce. Moyes fancies a permanent reunion with Belgium midfield star Fellaini after buying him in a £28m deal from Everton at the start of his ill-fated, 10-month reign at United. So far, Old Trafford boss Jose Mourinho is happy for Fellaini to stay in his squad. But Moyes will offer the 28-year-old a bolthole should the situation change. Moyes, though, is ready to press ahead with a move for Januzaj, who enjoyed his best spell at United under the Sunderland boss, and has been told he can go out on loan. Meanwhile, Moyes is hoping to make Croatia star Domagoj Vida his first signing for Sunderland. The Scot has identified the right-back area as one to strengthen and has moved for the Dynamo Kiev defender who was one of the stars of his country’s campaign at Euro 2016. Vida will cost around £5million and will fill one problem area for Moyes who is also keen to increase his attacking options given the injury being carried by Jermain Defoe. -------------------------------------------------------- Just on Domagoj Vida, recall him being rather average at the Euro's Also with one of the worst hairstyles ever bestowed amongst mankind! The article based on the first few lines seems to be utter BS like But Vida would be good cover for the back
