Clearly that's utter bollocks, especially as we have still got no manager so the idea that anybody is going to sign imminently is fanciful at best. So call it three weeks. And when it gets to two weeks, and we still can't fill a subs bench with players over the age of 12, will you still be saying "two weeks is plenty!!" like some sort of E'd-up goldfish?

 

clubs have been known to sign 3 or 4 players on final day.... we have 28 days to go yet.

We need more than that. We have no manager and probably no targets. No player will sign for a club with no manager. Signing 3 to 4 players on the final day is madness anyway.
