    Just playing Devils advocate

We'll just have to wait for the details if we get them

    Maybe..
But, being late for a plane, that's a big no no.. also you need to be able to judge when is the right time to play the clown and when not..
Maybe it was one prank to many and he's been told to go back home, get fit and stop dicking around..
I for one like the message Klopp is sending out!
We've got a lot of new signings and a few youngsters coming through, don't want them going down the wrong path on the Sakho Train of Tomfoolery

    Late for plane.

    Late for team meeting.

    joking about

    interupting the interviews.
yeah.. klopp put manners on the whole lot of them.

But you have to think.. he needs to take a think and be looking to be first in training, first in meetings etc.

You forgot..."didn't consult with club doctors regarding dietary supplements" ...regardless of his independent actions or organisational feck ups at labs...he put this **** on the club by just doing his own thing ....pattern forming here...

Like said, he needs to learn when its OK to play the fool and when he needs to buckle down and work.
He gets that mix right, I don't think Klopp will any further issues!
If he doesn't then he'll be gone... Cult hero or not!

I know the whole drug thing ended up okish in the end, but that still annoys me too. Taking supplements without consulting the club and now clearly a poor attitude and possible distraction for the rest of the players.

yeah i didn't even go back that far. I would say klopp was looking at him on a very very thin bit of ice in bringing him along.

He had his run-ins with Rodgers and people tended to blame Rodgers for it, because everyone was getting critical due to lack of progress. Now the same thing is happening with Klopp - add the drug stuff and you have to ask yourself who is the common denominator in all of this?
If he can knuckle down and concentrate then he'll be an asset, but if he's a constant distraction then he'll be in trouble and may well be out. As has been noted, for all his apparent bonhomie on the surface, Klopp is a ruthless taskmaster - and quite rightly so.

Rogers only played 343 cos he could not trust sahko in a back 4. he was constantly wandering forward.

Klopp might just be happy having an excuse to dump the warrior cos frnakly the systems and drills klopps demands doens't quite suit.

Whether people love Sakho or not. I am confident 100% of our fanbase back and trust Klopp, so I believe something is wrong with Sakho. Will we sell him though, or keep him? Sending him home sounds like the last straw was taken and he will be gone.

I don't know. I would guess it depends on offers

I think that my belief that he was going to be 3rd choice is now he's 4th choice at the start.

I think sending home is a clear message to the camp and drawing a line. whether there's been a serious discussion with him and he should know what is expected and he applied himself OR we hear from his agent next etc.... well we will see

If we sold him we'd need to grab for a CB like Tah.

Can only be a good thing. Klopp is boss, it's his way or the highway. If Sakho is falling in line he either needs to be told he needs to or ****ed off. This is the former, we'll have to wait and see on the latter

Klopp head did that he broke the club rules 3 times. late for the plane, late for a meal and missed a session.

He played it down saying there's no problem and that they'll talk when back in Liverpool.

His comment about when he told him he's off home is brilliant "there was no argument, you cannot argue when only one person is talking".

    Full quotes:

Defender Mamadou Sakho's banishment from Liverpool's pre-season tour is "not that serious" according to manager Jurgen Klopp.

The 26-year-old France international was sent home on Tuesday after being late on three separate occasions.

"We have some rules and we have to respect them," said Klopp.

"After eight days, when we come back, we can talk. But it's not that serious. We had no argument. You cannot argue when only one person is speaking."
