    25th Wedding Anniversary today... My missus has passed out after spending the most amazing evening in a place called the Buddha Bar (hence why I'm on here!!) It blew my mind.. Unbelievable place.

    In the context of it's time, Easy Rider by a mile. It might not be easily understood today. But that was a movie that had American women weeping on their Brit boyfriend's shoulder. "That's just f**king America". I know - she did, in the Odeon on Blossom Street, York. She wept.

    Duel and Badlands of the older genre.
    The Hitcher from the 80s with Herr Hauer, then a couple more recent in Little Miss Sunshine and The Way Back - road movies of sorts

    Probably the first of its kind, as a 'slasher' type movie - a much sicker version of Duel. Had me gripped. i might watch it again tosee if it is still as scary!
