Would rather have Yedlin at RB than Richards for the same money any day of the week. So i'm hoping as someone mentioned earlier that if we do get him then it will be as a centre bk.
Everything happens for a reason and i honestly think Moyes is a step up from BSA but apart from keeping us up i will always be thankful that he has left us with the 3 quality signings from january!

Well you're not accusing anybody directly. I think you maybe you are, either that or you daren't say who you really mean. Usually one of the two when people make sweeping comments.
Or it was ages ago so I can't remember who it was but there were definitely a few. You seem to think you know everything about me and, because you disagree with something I say, you have to push for something that isn't needed. I know I saw these type of comments. I already accepted that I shouldn't have made it so sweeping but you keep on going? Why?

In the nineties Sky's Andy Gray bleated on about Everton underperforming and that a huge club was being driven into the ground and so on. He would never let it drop so the board invited him to become manager and he went to Goodison but left without getting the job. He reckoned the time "was not right" for him to go into manageship, but he never the state of the club again.

Moyes and Bill Kenwright sorted it out over time using the sale of Rooney to steady the ship. Everton are not in a bad state now.
They are certainly not in a bad state
We have got the man I have wanted for years. I think we have a bright future ahead. It will take him some time so everyone need to be a little patient.

3 signings needed ASAP: Milla, a rb and a centre forward.

Then a creative midfielder.

I think his priority will be getting a sorted back 4 first.

Will be interesting to see if some of the players out of favour with BSA get more of a chance under Moyes? Did we sell Giac too quickly?
Giaccerini may have had a similar role to Piernaer at Everton but we move onwards now - Moyes Boys -We all need to support him and the club with positive Sunderland banter - keep doubts to ourselves for now :emoticon-0148-yes:

Well done Ellis Short and all at Sunderland...best signing for a long time and the 4 year contract says it all...now lets all be patient and give the man time and space to work and develop his team, even if that takes a season or two.

Best chance we have had at stability for ages, I for one am really excited by this appointment.

He'll problies be great for a season & then get the Scotland job, lol.

Anyone think we will go for people like Fellaini, ex Everton lads?

Possible.

Fellaini on loan would be a good shout, I doubt we could afford the wages to buy outright. Midfield 3 of him Milla and Kirchoff would be class. He woukd also be a bit of a target man going forward for Defoe to play off. The more I think about it the more I think it would be an ideal signing.

Like what?

So on a feel good thread you're having a pop and somebody you can't even remember?(yes we've gone from a whole crew to one person you can't remember) ****ing hell Marcus, Oh well. At least we got there in the end and people don't think your comments were aimed at them for what in reality was a fragment of a memory from the past. Glad you think it was worth bring the thread down for a half arsed point aimed at nobody in particular.

Jesus Wept.

Personally I can't stand Fellaini because he's a dirty little (or big rather) **** who loves to elbow people in the head and stamp on their feet, but in the long standing tradition of hypocrisy that comes with being a football fan I'd be happy to see him at the club. Seems very unlikely though, even if Mourinho doesn't want him he'd get more money elsewhere.

Someone had to bring it down. <laugh> Yes he's tried to bring Moyes in 5 times and managed once. That makes up for the club being ravaged in debt. Let's just enjoy it Marcus fella eh.:)
Bri Marcus was just asking a rhetorical question - you answered with a financial debt answer - don't think he blamed Ellis Short for not doing his best for the club.
Football business fortunes are subject to constant change - esp up here - <doh> ...<cheers>
In my opinion - it's onwards now

Great watch, he knows the score, I expect it to be another week before he starts looking at signings as he will have a look at what he has got first.

When he was at utd he looked like he had aged about 100 years, on that video he looks refreshed and relaxed. Good to hear Short has given him some assurances too. I think we will make some solid signings, I don't expect any big glam names as it's not Moyes way, he will build a team rather than focus on individuals.

I reckon sideshow bob would be a good fit for us, either bought or on loan (with the option to buy)

Yet only you got on the defensive! Chances are the people (yes people as I mentioned there were "a few" not one as you state) may not even use the forum any more. It wasn't aimed at you as I stated many posts ago (yet you keep going on) it was aimed at the ones who I remember having a go at Ellis for his managerial appointments. Not the financials. Jesus wept indeed!
