so he has ditched pie tax, and frozen prices for next season. Oh wait a minute he has scrapped catogory c game pricing. A hidden price hike in other words. Look he has introduced a £7 ticket for under 8s..... Given our ****eness that might bring in 10 kids a game. Cue the delusional apologists missing the real point. As an example of what's possible. Reading with every seat having leg room and a decent view are charging a maximum of £20 for a ticket next term for home fans.
Yes but they don't have Leeds playing 23 games a season there do they.wouldn't go if the tickets were free apart from 1
Meanwhile Wolves have just been bought out by the Fosun Group for £45M making them the 2nd richest club in the country - Kenny Jackett set to be replaced and a £200M transfer kitty entrusted to the next manager yet to be named!! Two of the co-founders and new Wolves directors Guo Guangchang & Liang Xinjun are multi-billionaires! Guangchan, a key player behind Wolverhampton Wanderers' new owners Fosun International, has promised to take the club back into the Premier League. And his representative, Jeff Shi, who led the negotiations on behalf of Guangchang, thanked former owner Steve Morgan and departing chief executive Jez Moxey for their time at the club. And he was also keen to paint today’s developments as the dawn of a new era. “We would also like to thank the hugely loyal and passionate Wolves supporters, and all the Club staff, for their patience whilst our discussions were ongoing. Confirmation of the buy-out by Chinese billionaire . “We hope they will be pleased with, and supportive of, our exciting plans for Wolves. “Football is enjoying a huge growth in China and, of course, is England’s national sport. As part of our strategy, it makes perfect sense to buy a great Football Club. “Our goal is crystal clear: we will do our very best to help take Wolves back to the Premier League as soon as possible and to stay there. “We believe the Club and the fans belong at the top of English football and getting there is our first and top priority.
So that makes them autos for promotion this year with Newcastle derby and villa. Looks like the Pl will be top heavy following season
I reckon it'll take Wolves a couple years to get up from here. They are bang average at the moment and they don't have enough time to prepare a championship winning squad before the season starts imo. Next year they will be much more likely. Villa won't get promoted either. As for derby, they are a weird one, every season I reckon they'll get promoted but they just seem to fall short every time. It's only a matter of time for them surely, they're always up there. I reckon Norwich are quite likely to go up with Newcastle through either playoffs or autos
Not sure about auto's, but I would say that a team that spends over £50M on players would have a far far greater chance than a team that spends £3M
Just exactly how many cat 3 games were there last season ? Not enough to to warrant we are being robbed now I bet.
They would but as Leicester proved money alone doesn't guarantee success. By the way Leicester won the pl last year
Will you be having a few thousand on Doncaster to win league 2 as Newcastle couldn't beat them. They did spend 46 million last summer and couldn't possibly go down if fact a few were tipping them for top 6.
