    Good Morning Everyone,

Leeds Utd have binned the pie tax!!!<yikes>

You will recall that Ticket prices on the South Stand were loaded by an extra £5 just before Christmas.

In exchange for this hike, you were given a voucher that you could exchange for a hot tasty Pie.

Ticket prices have been frozen for the new season.

A statement from the club read: “Following the introduction of great value meal deals throughout the stadium, adult match tickets in the South Stand will no longer be sold as part of a meal deal package.”

Leeds have also confirmed that all league fixtures will be classified as Category A or B after selecting only three Category C games during the 2015-16 term.

The club said it planned to introduce separate ticket promotions and discount schemes instead and they have followed a trend set with their season-ticket costs by introducing Under-11s prices in all areas of the ground.

Under-11s in the Kop will now pay just £8 for category A matches and £7 for category B.

Meanwhile 6 championship clubs have announced lower ticket prices than last year and every other club had at least 3 cat c games. Cellino continue to rape the club by reducing costs, selling assets and raising income.... None of which benefits the team on the park.

Morning all. For those of you still struggling with the concept of modern day footie and clubs selling their best players, Newcastle have just flogged Wijnaldaum to Liverpool for 25m, arguably one of their best players, despite the massive parachute payments they receive and according to some, make them auto certainties A week after we at Leicester have also sold our best to Chelsea despite the pending fortunes of the CL. Maybe Cellino secretly owns all these clubs and he can be blamed <doh>

    Morning all...

Would be nice to bring in one or two more signings today or tomorrow, get them settled in and enable the manager/coach to get a good look at them before the Atalanta game.

The resurfacing Flamini rumours, good signing?

Morning Eire, I understand what you are saying. It was always going to be difficult for Newcastle to keep hold of Wijnaldaum. He would want Prem football, though I take your well made points.

    Morning ristac, good find pal!

Leeds United have been sensationally linked with a move for the former Arsenal and A.C Milan defensive midfielder Mathieu Flamini, according to Italian publication Superscommesse.

It has been reported that Leeds United are in the market for a defensive-minded midfielder, the signing is likely to replace Liam Bridcutt.

The most recent name that has been surprisingly linked with Leeds United is Mathieu Flamini, the ex-Arsenal midfielder who is more inclined to the playing in the Champions League rather than the Championship is being targeted by Massimo Cellino.

The 32-year-old midfielder left Arsenal at the end of last season when his contract came to its conclusion and the veteran French midfielder has yet to find his next club.

One potential shock destination is Leeds United who would happily take such a vastly experienced proven player at such a highly level, who could provide leadership on the field.

The main stumbling block could be the drop down to the Championship, and also his wages which may price Leeds United out of the move.

And thats the reason we dont have Byram, Snoddy and Cook anymore and the reason most other clubs cant keep their best either. Its also the reason we get to sign players from lower divisions, so it works both ways

Agree. Suprised me that Derby have kept hold of Will Hughes and Tom Ince. Surely these players are at least on the same level of Cook?

As part of the Pogba deal, manure will pay his agent Mino Raiola £18,400,000 to 'facilitate' the deal. (Source: Guardian)

When there is something to be positive abut I will join the glee club.
    It wont happen under Cellino.

    Here is a prediction:

We will be linked with 5 or 6 established players that we have all heard of. Not one will be signed, and Cellno will go back to Serie b and land us with more ****e to give the squad some numbers as the window is about to shut.

Monk wont be able to get the team playing in a way to get decent results and will be sacked by November. Cellino will then say he gave another a chance but was right not to like British coaches and we will be landed with another Darko type. League finish 16/17 will be 17th - 22nd.

I hate to say this but him and Rashford could cause some serious damage... if only they get rid of Rooney!

    Morning all <ok>

Another CB and CM is essential IMO, but I am not convinced we will get another two perm signings.

Morning all. Can't see us getting Flamini, as wages would be a major issue. But sounds like the team is coming together. So let's see how we're doing after the first 10 games
