Has there not been whispers of Virgin Money taking up their sponsorship again, can't remember where I heard this but it was within the last month or so.

Clearing the way for Sports Direct?

A local company (or charity) would be best and in keeping with a club who is integral to the local community. Failing that, whoever will pay the most but is an ethically run company.

Almost certainly Sports Direct. I'm just amazed he hasn't done it before now.

Has to pay, the stuff on the stadium he could do for free. Seems more like he's willing to pay now, so, yeah, SD will be on the shirt.

Driving into a town on the other side of the peninsula today, I saw a chap by the road wearing a red shirt.

At first glance I thought it was a Wales football shirt but on a second look I saw the name of the sponsor: Chevrolet. That was the only means to identify the shirt at that range and the thought struck me: who would want to buy a shirt which is only identifiable by the advertising?

Why will he have to pay? Its 'his' shirt. My thought process is that as SD shares head ever downwards he will be looking for even more exposure and as far as NUFC is concerned pretty much the last place he can plaster his branding is across the shirt.................. and we may well see the return of the Sports Direct Arena yet................... but I am hoping and praying that the silly bastard has learnt his lesson on that one.
