Looks like this might be true - there was a helicopter at the training ground that apparently contained officials from Everton... No news if any deal was made though.
You are thinking with your head rather then your heart I'm afraid - not everyone is out supporter so don't have an emotional attachment will follow the money like Kante.
Anybody who wants to go, GO nobody and I mean nobody is bigger than the club! everyone is replaceable I thought the TANK ( Graham Cross to you younger ones ) was unreplaceable but I believe we are still going long after he finished with us!
Second one going for a big money move aparently, must be a good wage tbh seeming the DoF is the first out the door if the players don't perform. Walsh though is likely to buck that trend, lets hope theres something in place that they cannot steal our current targets.
I doubt we'd have approached you for permission, without already having had the nod from Walsh himself. Therefore I'm confident that he fancies the job, it'll now rest on either compensation being agreed or you putting something to him that'll change his mind.
Not sure whether you know but what you have just described is illegal. You HAVE to get a team's permission to talk to their staff (or it applies to their players so I assume it does the rest of their staff). If you talk to them before you end up with what happened with Ashley Cole and chelsea
Yeah right oh....I think in the real World you'll find it's what's known as #standard Clubs don't generally risk embarrassing themselves by bidding for players and managers who might turn them down flat.
And you think football is the real world? And players and managers have never turned a club flat have they?
Are you about 12 or are you just naïve? Clubs generally find out via agents whether a player or manager would be interested in a move, it's how it works.
Although "interested" could be anything from 'I want to see what they are willing to pay me so I can negotiate a better contract at my current club' all the way to 'I really want to leave my current club for the interested club'.
Indeed, these situations are always fluid. If you put the same money and title on the table for him then he'd likely stay imo, it'll no doubt be sorted one way or the other in the next few days.
I think he'll leave as he won't get a higher position with us - I bet the delay is to rearrange things on our side. Apparently will cost you around £3M which is a decent amount of change.

I really think scouts etc should have their own transfer window beginning the day after the player window closes, that way the buying club would not get the benefit of the selling clubs previous wages/time.
'After the season you have had' - That is the problem every single club will have - not just you. Happened to us big time last season. Happened to City, Manu, Real etc. After a successful season - everyone except few will want a payday. Clubs cannot match the demands and unfortunately stuff happens. Band of brothers are only when it lasts. Sad state of the world.
I hadn't realised that he has family in the North West. So family, promotion and more money might outweigh a run in the CL. Good luck to him and Everton. He has brought in some fantastic players that contributed greatly to our incredible season and for that I will be ever thankful.
