I'd be happy with Gunter, always impressed me when we have played against him. Can't he play left full back too?
Don't have a problem with Odemwngie. He has rocked up and been given a "trial". If he looks great, then that's great and he's on a free. If (as expected) he can't cut the mustard, or is a bag O'****e, we just say thanks but no thanks. Nothing to lose really. Lets see how he looks tonight.
If he puts the ball in the onion bag then why not give him a short term deal until Jan, would make perfect sense as he's proven which is what you can't say about some of our current 'strikers'!
Make of it what you will... Ian Tullock @Tigertully Lamine Sane sale to City drags on so player recalled to France to continue training.
We have took punts on the last few years with Proschwitz, Sagbo and Diomande. I'm much happier going with HRK based on the facts that; 1 - He's scored 7 goals already in this league (albeit from the wing) 2 - He's been recently convertd to centre-forward so is still making progression 3 - He played in a role and in a team similar to how we match up in the PL (Wales in the Euro's) 4 - He held the ball up well allowing Bale and Ramsey the opportunity to get inot the game further up the field 5 - At the top level he showed good compusure in front of goal 6 - He's free I know some people like the mystery of a potential uncovered superstar - how did the 3 above turn out. HRK isn't a massively exciting transfer but it's certainly an astute one.
He'll walk, but on the other side of the coin this guy(Tullock) been wrong before not so long ago everybody on here was saying he doesn't have a clue about what's going on at city.
My biggest fear regards transfer's, is not who comes in although that is a big worry, but with these two in charge if we get offered silly money for Abel or Robbo they will take it, honestly think they are now starting to take there revenge on the fans by running the club into the ground.
