I was thinking this. If it is someone in Allams team. Whoever it is is a slimy piece of ****. Cant stand disloyalty.
The put on hold bit was back end of last week, the dead in the water bit started rumouring yesterday from OLM. There's nothing official from either side so no one is really fibbing.
The Allams can put negotiations on hold. The other side can walk away. It can all be true. But could always change.
For those who struggle: Fact: the Allams have put off negotiations until September. The Americans have walked away and said that it's over. Fiction: it was down to greed / race / never wanting to sell / any other hatred. Also, any of the fiction may be fact, but you can't call it as such without more information. What you think is greed may be down to what others think is sensible haggling. Without knowledge the name calling and hatred is a bit pathetic. I'm angry, but angry at the fact it hasn't happened, not because I want to invent some reason to blame anyone. I suspect that the Allams have been rather difficult, on what's rumoured, but it's not a divine right they have to sell and accept any bid just to appease fans. We can all debate forever on whether the bid seemed fair on what we know. Also fact: that's either the end of it, or things could change again in future. Whatever is the current state of affairs, you never know! I find a lot of the invention on here to be annoying.
If anyone has the time or inclination to learn more just google buying and selling football clubs in England. Buyers don't come along very often, if one comes and there is a chance to make a profit it would seem very prudent to take it.
Statements like that don't mean anything. Whatever your advice or thoughts, you have no say. Or influence. So, it's all just blowing off steam, sadly.
