This is the usual hanging on every word stuff. In the absence of a real story it's now we are signing nobody due to Europe yet there's mane training. I'm pretty sure we just have to wait and see.
One of Klopps coaches was talking about how they know you need strength and power in this league.. Potentially why Allen might not be needed and why more players like Grujic will be coming in.
Today's the day. Either balotelli goes to China or I will be needing a chest freezer for some storage.
sorry but i'm too old for excitement i prefer quiet tedium oh and a new LB (not even bothered about their size)
We're not in a position to sign better players than him this summer. So he'll stay Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Piotr Zielinski has decided on his future, according to his agent - but they’re keeping it a secret. Express Sport understands Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is a long-term admirer of the player and considered moving for him in January. However, the German boss elected to wait and make a decision in the summer. But the Reds have struggled to close a deal for the 22-year-old and have faced stiff competition from AC Milan. Zielinski’s agent Bartolomej Bolek has now suggested that the player has decided where he will play football next season. “I met owner Pozzo and spoke to Udinese today,” Bolek told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “We are trying to find the best solution both for the club and the player. “We’ll see what happens next week. “We know that many offers reached Udinese for Zielinski. “We’re talking to Pozzo and the interested clubs. “After the Euros he went on vacation, as he needed to rest after a long season. “He will return to Udine on July 22 or 23. “It’s true [that Liverpool have been tracking the player for a long time] but I don’t like to talk about negotiations in the papers.” “We’ve decided, but it’s a secret.” Source: Daily Express
Lallana has been very good under Klopp. He masters the pressing and fast turnaround game. He also improved his goal scoring under Klopp, scoring all 5 of his goals last season in the later part of it. Ideal squad player at a minimum. My view with building a squad for PL is you must build 2 strong 11's. To finish in the top 4 your strongest 11 must be capable of a title challenging, whilst your second 11 must be good enough for a strong EL finish minimum. GK Karius - Mignolet: As long as Karius works out this is ideal. RB Clyne - Flanagan: Ideal in my opinion CB Lovren - Matip - Sakho - Gomez: Due mainly to injury prone players and lack of experience, needs work. But no player is an obvious weak link. LB Moreno - Smith: Moreno is capable of being a decent enough squad player but must improve. Smith is the first big weak link in this method. CM Can - Henderson - Allen - Lucas - Stewart -Grugic: To unbalanced. Enough of some things but very little of us. Far from bad, reliable work horses which every team needs. But work horses alone is not enough. Little creativity, no general, little muscle. 2 in 2 out. WM Mane - Milner: Posible big talent and a super reliable work horse. Ideal in the short term. AM Coutinho - Lallana - Firmino : Simply needs another. This is a very appealing trio and if we get 2 injuries here at once we will cope by using guys like Milner and Grujic, but Coric will be ideal now if possible. ST Sturridge - Ings - Origi - Pace, movement, skill, energy, work rate, goals. Ideal for a season with out Europe. Let see how they do for injuries and reevaluate in a year. I'd like 4 or 5 more players in total, but I'd accept 2 more if we can only get CB and 1 CM in. Those are priorities. The rest can wait if need be. I left out very young squad members and players I 100% expect to leave.
