Good question. I'm thinking if we are looking for a 15-20 goal a season guy, that would put him ahead of them as a No9, but Shane can play elsewhere.
Charlie only cost £4m and if that's all we have to pay for a 1st choice No9 good enough to get us Top 6 and Europa knock-outs then a lot of clubs are wasting a lot of money.

For me what we need is a different option to them, which Pelle was. So I think I want a younger faster potential Pelle.
And Mrs S wants him to be at least as good looking as Pelle . (She's not been the same since he went)

Not usually one for this sort of thing but I've had a classic style ITK rumour passed along the line to me so thought I'd share it for a bit of novelty. My brother-in-law's best friend's brother-in-law works at Staplewood and has let it slip that apparently Dries Mertens visited for a tour a couple of days ago. Like I said, classic.

Trust my brother-in-law and he trusts his friend, but I never believe this sort of thing when I see it and I don't really believe it now, so don't read much into it. Seemed juicy though so figured I'd share.
