People have already moved on... hence pay on the gate at ferriby and we could have had pay on the gate at Wembley. There are more things to do with your money nowadays people have more choices what to spend their cash on. It's also nice to feel valued even if that's just a simple thank you and a smile at a restaurant.
I think it's funny that some bloke on Twitter who claims to be ITK spends the rest of his time posting pictures of full bins at places. Really?!
That's not quite true didn't lloyd try to merge us with Wimbledon ? and how many of the that bunch stuck us into administration and left us up the Creek.
So no takeover until after the transfer window at the earliest. Get hit by a train, Allams. I ****ing hate you.
From HDM Hull City are set to place takeover talks on hold until September after failing to reach an agreement to sell the club this summer. City have staged a series of negotiations since winning the Championship play-off final in May but are yet to see their asking price met. Although the Mail understands fresh talks took place with a US-group led by businessman Peter Grieve this week, those discussions failed to reach a satisfactory conclusion. A desire to focus on much-needed squad strengthening was behind City's decision to set a deadline of Monday this week and that is now expected to see the Allam family postpone negotiations under the transfer window closes at the end of August. Reports suggested that City had been close to a takeover with contracts being drawn up with Grieve's consortium, but that was quickly denied by club officials. The long-term future of the Tigers, instead, remains unclear. Grieve's interest in a takeover has again been apparent with a series of talks with the Allam family this week but the resolution craved by a section of supporters has not yet been forthcoming. Baffling... why September? Can't see any genuinely logical reason for that at all. Surely it's either off or it's ongoing? Why postpone negotiations only to pick up exactly where you left off a few months later? I wonder what the prospective buyers think of this. They'll walk before too long. Really perplexing...
Cos they can trouser the first PL instalments, and now have an excuse not spend any money before the transfer window shuts.
If I was selling the club I'd want the Allams to sellsell it for me. Drive a hard bargain. They've got the yanks hooked, I assume Pearson is involved? As thats where the info is coming from? Anyway it'll be sold. The yanks are just going to have to stump up the extra, whatever it is. They're too far in now.
That YP article is obviously straight from the Allams. They usually use YP as their mouthpiece but look at some of the wording. It reads like a club statement. Hopefully this is another stupid tactic to force the price up rather than the truth. If it really is on hold until September then of course the excuse in September will be that they need to wait until summer so we know what league we're in. Just like last year.
