Actually, is it that negative of his other businesses are in trouble? Doesn't that make it more likely that he would have to sell?

Sounds like idle speculation to me:
'Higgs Boson sighted near Carrington, may sign soon. Reports indicate that Boson, reknowned for his weighted passes, may make an appearance. Sir Alex Ferguson is reputed to rate the player highly, saying "He's a great prospect, very tricky and defenders have trouble detecting his movement, especially at set pieces."'

Ah, I see. But are you sure you have the causality right? Could it not be that Liverpool's relative success is what's affecting the LHC? That could be why it's found precisely nothing so far :)

You should be quite worried if my theory is true. If that's the case, then the new season starts the impact of Liverpool's crushing failure may well cause the LHC to explode :D

Probably not. It looks to me like Glazer recognises that the US model of out of town shopping malls is fundamentally screwed. He probably borrowed on the malls to buy Utd, and based on that Panorama documentary it looks like he also borrowed on them to pay off the PIKs. Could be he's just going to let the malls go bankrupt, safely within their own limited companies, and keep all his other businesses. After all, all businessmen know that you never sell a successful business to try and save a failing one...

Seeing as Malcolm Glazer is so good at bankrupting shopping centres,he should put his efforts into disney characters as he already owns a mickey mouse outfit(Manchester United),and he should bankrupt that.

I can imagine KPR sitting at home chuckling to himself thinking that Glazer line's good. What a knob.

Not at all Swarbs. The problem so far has been the unexpected success of your lot last season with a relatively poor team. Other anomalies have impacted on the performance of the LHC, such as the Gooner Implosion Syndrome and the Chavski Dementia Hypothesis.

As your performance begins to be limited by the rising power of the LHC and the consequential rise of the True Reds, you will See the dawning of a new and bright epoch - The LFC - Higgs Continuum. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Just as well it wasn't Utd playing with Webb being the ref. KPR would have blown his top.

That's a nice attempt at intellectual wumming. However, my theory is proved and will be born out in reality..........................

Surely that's an oxymoron? A theory cannot be considered proved until it is borne out in reality...you appear to be putting the scientific horse before its metaphorical cart... :p

    Theory proved??

Theories in my line of work are never proved, just supported.

This is also true, however when the weight of empirical evidence become overwhelming then a scientific theory is generally considered to be proved (like gravity). Either way, it has to be borne out in reality first!

I detect a thunderous silence from the rest of the board. Whena theory is internalised, it's real. This is my belief system when it comes to my team and the LHC (in injection probe beam status as we post).

A theory is never proved otherwise it wouldn't be a theory, it would be a fact. I teach and empirically test theories that have been supported since the 60's and even these are not proven. Too many variables have to be taken into account to even be considered proven.

I guess it may be different in other fields, but in forensics and in particular psychology a theory is absolutely never proven.

    Anyway **** that - back on topic: you're all ****s <yikes>

Whose version of gravity, Swarbs? You'd have to say that Einstein's version was, with the total eclipse experiement - was it Michelson???
