His goal scoring record whilst on loan at Millwall, and whilst playing for Leicester was put to him, and whether he will be able to score 20 plus goals for Leeds this season. “Easily,” Wood said. “I’ve done it before so I can do it again. If I have a full season then I’ll do it easily and I’m happy to back myself on that. It’s what I’ll be looking for this season.” Thoughts? Will he be our leading scorer this season? I could score 50 goals in a season playing for us! The lesson to take from that is "talk is cheap and like all verbal communication it is not worth the paper it's written on". He would have to be much improved from the player we saw last year and more importantly the rest of the team would need to create three times as many chances that we did last season. Chances of it happening < 10%

Chippy shat the bed and got his spleen emptied first thing I see haha Wood will score over 20 if given support, gets wide balls played into him and stays fit. I also reckon on 70 goals this season from this squad. Skip should be someone who is going to be part of the team all season, not some poo who will spend time on the bench. We may still need that Vinnie/Barton type stopper in the middle, someone with that bit of class that can drive the team on and put his foot on the ball. Do we have that player yet?
All is far from well @Maison Chippy! I take two weeks away from work and come back to three months worth of issues that need sorting yesterday. Plus the Mrs is in hospital next Wednesday to have a benign cyst removed from her throat, whilst I am looking forward to the peace and quiet who the **** is going to do the cooking, cleaning and shopping? It's a good job Cellino has got his act together and we are assured of promotion this season, its all that's keeping me sane!!!!
