So long as the rain stays away we are rather sweet on our lads chances tomorrow. We rather hope they go a decent gallop as that always helps him to settle. Despite being trained at Epsom you dont get to try them on the track itself but he is fairly uncomplicated and should handle the track well enough.
I wouldnt be putting anyone off having a bet on him!

    Others on the card I have backed already are;
    Thecornishbarron
    Aqua Ardens
    Penwortham

Aqua Ardens is becoming a bit of a cliff horse for me but absolutely loves it round here!

    All the best with squire,

Toffee Apple going for a hat trick of wins with her 5th run since 27th June in the last at Hamilton. Does that seem like a lot of races to anyone else ?

May have a dabble if Great Order (Leicester 3:55) does the business.

I must say Stick I think this is the best chance Squire has had since his last win, I think the Gay Cavalier could have a big say but I think your lad has a little more class, a win bet and a reverse forecast for me tomorrow with those two.

    Good luck

Best of luck Squire. The tide is turning...Harristown winning, Buzz back in rude health, albeit without his knackers fairly soon and now Squire going to land a blow at the downs.

Was going to mention The Gay Cavalier myself. If I'm not mistaken it's beaten Squire before. Not today though it's time for revenge come on Squire! Reverse forecast for me aswell though just in case

Or nearly up Mont Ventoux ..................... the last 6km of the ascent are docked due to forecasted gale force winds at the summit. Schade.

St Cloud; Grand Prix de Paris = party time!!!

The pertinence of this race is usually the comparison of the form between The Derby, the Irish Derby and the Prix du Jockey Club. If I was going to have a bet I think, for once, I would side with the Epsom form and punt on Red Verdon. Will wait to see both UK bookie's and PMU offers!

Loving the Tour this year. I never really appreciated how much of a game of chess it is to be honest but working from home and watching hours on end really makes you appreciate the tactics. Couple that with the most stunning scenery make it a truly wonderful event.

The Gay Cavalier did beat us but that was on the all weather, different set of rules tonight. See we are blue across the board on oddschecker!

I have actually backed him today stick because of the form book. I have had a little sentimental EW bet on a couple of his recent runs but only really because he is our horse, rather than seeing him able to win were I looking at him without personal affection. Today however I can see him going very close and I think if Jim Crowley can manage the all important getting him to the front early enough then he will prove hard to get in front of by the line.

Morning, you types. Good luck with The Squire today, me old loves. Stick, if all goes well between now and then, is the plan still the ‘Silver Cambridgeshire’ in just over 2 months???

News from the county is that Royal Ascot winner Primitivo has been sold to race in Hong Kong. A crushing blow in some ways for the region but connections were made an astounding offer. They bought him for 10,000 gns and have now sold the old boy for in excess of 7 figures! That, ladies and gentlemen, is the way to do it!

Cheers Barney and may I say it is lovely with a capital L to see you back.
The plan is to head to Newmarket as you say but if possible we would like to sneak into the main race with the consolation event being the back up. He needs to win once or twice between now and then for the main race to be any more than a pipe dream.
Tactics slightly different today but the long Epsom straight should mean we get him in position at the right time. We just need Crowley to understand what it takes on the boy.
