    I know this has been said in the past but not by me. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all that you have done for this wonderful club of ours. I have always been proud to be a mackem and support SAFC through the bad times and now this carpet ride seems to be soaring ever higher I would like to use this great forum site to express my heartfelt gratitude to thank Short, Quinn & Bruce.

    How many times did he do it in the one game to the same player? I'm 43 so never saw him play but I seem to recollect my dad say that shack nutmegged the same player in one game quite a few times but can't remember how many it was???

    yes i agree i hope people respond and get there in good numbers to show them how we feel, be nice to get some full houses and see how far we can go this season with a good crowd behind the lads

    Totally agree. Remember that fateful day at the end of October. I said at the time how the club reacted to that day would define where we go. Short could have pulled the plug, Quinn could have wondered if the hassle was worth it, and Bruce could even have lost his job. But all 3 stood firm, the players grafted harder than ever before, and hopefully now will see us kick on even further. Jealous mags all over the shop today. We sign 2 top players while they worry about Shirley Carroll getting on his bike to Spurs!

    Who would have dreamed that we would sign TWO players of this quality in one day when we were bottom of the championship? Quinn has been as good as his word and brought unbelievable backing and success to this great club of ours. Ellis Short can see the potential and is backing Quinn and Bruce to the hilt. The Darren Bent transfer has stirred up Short/Quinn and Bruce to be even more determined than ever to bring success to SAFC.

    Thank you Messrs E.Short, N.Quinn and S. Bruce - you are an unbelievable team who have sent out yet another message of intent to the Premier League.

    We've never had it so good!!!!!!!!!
