Interesting double standards by Burnley. They seem to think Keane is worth £20 mill but offered £3 mill for Jeff Hendrick from Derby. How do they work that one out!
We have received a £35M offer from China for N'Golo Kante and that is something he isnt interested in The good news is Kante's release clause means we only have to agree a deal with the highest offer which is £35M as it stands
... widely reported in Press ... this one alludes to fact that Chelsea may not have to pay £35m .. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/foot...-Conte-Leicester-Premier-League-summer-gossip ... from what I've read I agree with Proud ... this Chinese bid is good for us as it means we wouldn't be obliged to accept less than the Chinese bid .. Graziano pelle has left Southampton for a Chinese club because they are going to pay him £260k a week ... the Chinese League has massive ambition ... Have to admit the press are irritating me ... Chelsea are not playing in Europe this season but it is a done deal that Kante will move to them because he is mad keen to work with Conte ... why? .. to my knowledge the two have never encountered each other in footballing circles ... For me it's watch the space ... I wouldn't want to sell him to an EPL rival ... which Chelsea may be next season ... although it is by no means guaranteed unless they strengthen considerably ...
The press are just desperate. I think it is the telegraph that have today that NG HAS rejected a new offer from us and he definitely has his heart set on moving to Chelsea. I've not seen anything to back either of those claims up and the press never provide sources. In fact they tend to reference each other! So one new source starts the rumour and the rest jump on. Bloody annoying really is
So Kantes contract effectively contains a £20M reserve but states that he must be sold to the highest bidder. Now a Chinese club have allegedly bid £35M. A Chinese club managed by Sven, who remains good friends with our clubs owners. Anyone else getting a whiff of something fishy?
... not necessarily that he "must be sold" ... that we inform him of anybody making such a bid ... if he then expresses interests we have the option of opening up general bidding and only accepting the highest if he is still determined to leave ...
Sven pissed £15M up the wall on transfer fees and god knows how much on wages up the wall. He definatley owes the owners so cheers Sven. Offer us £50M and just off Kante £50 a week in wages
Rumour is Sunderland want Simpson back for £4M http://www.sunderlandecho.com/sport...k-linked-with-4m-sunderland-return-1-8009092?
While Simpson is on his last life here I wouldnt sell him. He was superb last season He just needs to keep his nose clean
... he would also be worth double the fee being touted based on his performances last season (and that Burnley want £20m for Michael Keane )
Not a chance - Simpson worked his socks off to become our number 1 RB and now, righty so, has grown into a vital part of our team
We are after Andreas Pereira from Man Utd - we were linked for him last season as well. Also Rangers want Joe Dodoo - on loan which would be good move imo.
Depends on if CR would be looking to replace him, but while we have the flair of Mahrez in front of him, we don't need him to do the overlapping job and hes arguably one of the better defensive RBs that we have had in recent memory.
Rumour is that we are after Adil Rami - 30yo French CB from Sevilla http://talksport.com/football/leice...gue-champions-make-move-france-defender-adil? Also Stoke are trying to nick Lemina from us for almost twice what we were after him for https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/foot...old-they-must-pay-20million-for-mario-lemina/
I think Rami would be a good shout, he's very much in the Huth and Morgan mould, played a few games for France at the Euros, and probably wouldn't cost a huge amount. Would like someone a bit younger though, as all of our CB options, bar Hernandez, are in their 30s.
Claudio Ranieri has said he is "very confident" that Riyad Mahrez is staying and says Mahrez is "happy and wants to stay here" He also said he has told Kante he wants him to stay and we have offered him a new deal but its up to him if he stays or goes
