Was awesome at the Posh and was doing well at The Florists until his horrible injury.

We know what he can do, but I wonder how much the injury has affected him (imo Ruddy has never been the same since his injury a couple of seasons ago).

 

He's only 23 and if our medical team give him the all clear I would be delighted.

 

He's the sort of striker we need to complement Jerome. The injury was to his kneecap, which is not usually career threatening. Hope it's true.

 

I like him. Right age, experience of the Championship. He missed nearly the whole of last season with A Knee injury. I don't know if he's injury prone, or was just very unlucky last Season.

I would have rather Dembele or Woodrow, but he's a similar type.

 

It's strange to see a story that we would bid £7M in the Championship for a player who barely played last season, but wouldn't stretch to £12M for Afobe while a Premiership club.

Wonder if there is any truth in it.

well, now we are ******* talking. Would be a great signing for where we are - and with potential to make the step up if all goes well - spent most of last season out injured - but i think it was a one off rather than something likely to recur... forest fans will kick off, despite him barely playing for the past 12 months - which is a good sign i'd have thought...

 

He would be a quality addition in my opinion, sign him up quick!

Personally always thought he was overrated. Scored the odd goal and ran around a lot. However, he gave the ball away a fair bit and rarely played well when he started.

 

If he is fully fit, after a near career threatening injury, and stays that way... Yes! Big gamble after that injury though.

Like if we get Britt, looked good before that horrid injury, may quell the storm for another striker, but still want us to get a CB as well, Tyler Blackett released by Man U could be a good squad addition, but still need a partner for Klose (if he is still here)

 

Have we replaced McNally Redmond signed a centre back and striker yet ?.

Boro are impressing me, the same way Watford did the summer we all went up. Good quality players from foreign top divisions. Won't always work as well as Watford, but Fischer, Negredo, Valdes would be a great trio of signings.
