"Hull started off okay but has hardened his position possibly because Tobes is being standard Tobes and Stan is being Stan"

Here is the last part of Bobby's post - The one I was referring too. As it was the last part of the post, I assumed it would be obvious it was that I was referring too. Obviously not.

Have you ever considered that maybe you have a persecution complex? Or maybe you should enquire to establish your facts before making accusations??

    Again, obviously not...

And no, I'm not pissed, as you seem to believe. Even if I was, I'm still far to quick for you!...

Don't be so hard on yourself. To be fair, you were only correcting a long winded post that made false claims.

The Eagle has landed, but it doesn't seem to have captured press imagination.

Listening to Corbyn, Eagles and May, and I'm optimistic because each seems to recognise the need for politicians to try to tackle the disenfranchised feelings from so much of the country.

I just hope the media learns its place in things too.

Nothing. Still around €1.174 and $1.298. The BOE meet on Thursday. At this moment the betting is 50-50 whether they will cut rates this month, or hold off and wait for more data.

If I had to put money on it, I think they'll preempt and cut on Thursday...

You were trying to claim that EU legislation was needed to protect UK workers an it would be a worse place without it, when the legislation you quoted stemmed from UK legislation and had already set the measures in place. Have a look at the figures for the rest of the EU, and you'll see that they're all miles behind because they don't operate to the same level that we do in the UK. If it was EU legislation alone that was driving it, they should be the same as us.

Your basic premise was simply wrong, EU legislation simply adopted the existing UK standards.

Here's one for you. I haven't checked, so you could manage to salvage something from this. I'll claim that the rate of deaths at work in the UK was falling before the EU legislation kicked in, and is now starting to level off. See if you can find something that shows otherwise. <ok>

As I posted earlier, all three are talking the talk. I on't know much about any of them to be fair, but from what little I do know, I'd put Corbyn above Eagles simply because he seems more willing to listen to the people. I can't say I agree with his stance on a few key decisions though.

It is not obligatory to pay the political levy if you are a menber of a trade union. It is very easy to opt out. Therefore all the money given by trade unions to the Labour Party is from money paid by members for that very purpose. That makes member contributions 93%
