Yeah just tweeted by Matt Dean... gutted, wonder what Bruce will do now.

To be fair, we have the Jak, Kuciak and the young lad we just signed... there's 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice keepers.

Don't know myself if this is a massive setback or a blessing in disguise.

If only he'd got injured a few days earlier, we could've gone for Victor Valdes...

Makes you wonder what Bruce is doing in training again. Was it a collision between them? You can't put all this down to bad luck every season. If Jak is in goal now I'm worried unless he greatly improves on crosses.

wasn't this the same injury that kept AM out off the play offs, if so appears to have taken sometime to sort out.

McGregor requires back surgery and Bruce requires an achilles operation.

Bruce Jr must have spent more time in the treatment room during his time with us than he has available, whether you are a fan of his or not, surely his wages would be better spent elsewhere...

The biggest surprise is that nobody will be surprised by this. Mcgregor is just too injury prone.

It's time for Mattia Perin, £8m and he's ours.

Although the screaming for a new keeper, I doubt SB is even thinking about it. He has faith in Jak, new contract, signed the unknown Kuciak, so I think our GK situation is covered at the moment!

I highly doubt we'll buy a new keeper... its just not likely is it.. We'd then have 4 keepers fighting for the no.1 spot, plus a young promising lad thats pushed even further down the pecking order..

Hope I'm wrong but Jak is a decent reserve keeper who could now play in the champioship but I'm sure this season who ever is in goal will have plenty of crosses and shots to deal with and for me jak even though he has greatly improved is still not convincing on crosses. I'm always nervous when a keeper punches instead of catching the ball. He is definitely a much better keeper than when he arrived but is he a very good premier league keeper because that's what we will need this season. He may well be but I have my doubts for him to do it constantly, hope I'm wrong because watching him in the Arsenal away game he was brilliant.

He'd cost about £25 million. Assuming you're talking about Rui Patricio.

Bruce tends to stand by keepers for a while who are finding it tough, so I really hope Jak has a confident start otherwise it could be a bad opening month or two.

And with transfers I really hope we stop signing injured players, or those very prone to injury.

A new keeper it is then.

Eldin isn't good enough to be starting every week.

    IMO.

The question has to be, is SB's eye on the ball. Short listed for the England job and due to be interviewed... Do the club need to give permission for this to happen..? On the goalkeeping front, its a major worry. Elgin has been great, but under huge pressure...???!!!!!!
