I'll be watching the final tomorrow but have no love for either team as things stand. However, if you know what I mean, as the game kicks off I'll quickly develop an irrational desire for one of them to win. It can be influenced by the slightest thing from the way they sign the anthem to whether one of the players slicks his hair before kick off. Anything can sway my decision and the most tenuous link to Sunderland usually decides it. At the moment I'm against France because of the hypocritical way Thierry Henry was analysing a deliberate handball. And, even though Sissoko will most likely be leaving, I'd rather Newcastle don't have a Euro winner on their books. Does anyone else have these irrational thoughts or am I just mental?
I want France to win because I love watching them play. I know the standard this tournament as left very few teams with much to shout about, but on the whole I do enjoy watching the french play. They entertain me so I'm happy to see them win.
I hate Deschamp's dirty green teeth so I'd like Portugal to win. I like Ronaldo but I also like Evra and we may possibly be buying Pogba so it could change, especially if Deschamps has overnight teeth whitening.
Same as Bri I expect I'll be supporting France as they play good football. On the negative side for Portugal I don't like Pepe or Ronaldo and I can't say I've enjoyed watching them as a team either. It could all change on the day though, the heart wants what it wants.
I have no love either way for the teams, but want Portugal to win just for the French reaction. on the other hand Portugal winning after being inspired by Ronaldo would be a nightmare.
Once it starts I'll want the best team 'on the day' to win, but I've got France in the sweep at work and I'd love to 'shove it up 'em' on my return a week on monday . . . . unless I decide to stay with Mickey Mouse et al for a bit longer (or forever) It's definately slightly warmer than Sunderland
I want France to win as they have been the most entertaining side to watch, they have scored some great goals and have the player of the tournament in Griezmann. How the hell Sissoko gets picked ahead of Kante just baffles me. France have won the last 10 games against Portugal and Ronaldo has never scored against France. I don't particularly like the arrogant Ronaldo but he's not half as bad as that cheating Pepe Allez les bleus
I want France to win (as much as it pains me to say) 1. I reckon the French have had a **** year with regards bombings etc so a bit of good news is due!?! 2. Portugal have been pretty woeful most of the tournament and I don't think they deserve to win it.

I can't argue with that. I lived among the French for years and they're really annoying when they're winning things. But as you say, after the bad time they've had it would be hard hearted to begrudge them a lift. At least they've played, as a few have mentioned, some good attacking football and tried to win the games. Teams like Portugal have been dreary and used the group system and penalties to their advantage. That's it, you've persuaded me ........ France it is!
Never liked Portugal too much. I like Ronaldo at club level and like seeing him do well but for some reason I don't like him for the national side. I'd much prefer France to win. I like the idea of the hype around Pogba, it's been Messi and Ronaldo too long for me. I'd like to see Pogba overtake them as superstar number 1.
